I can't get the Metaverse Characters Working

It just gets stuck on "processing data". I tried taking out the picture, I thought that was making it slow, but now it just doesn't work at all.

I'm having the same problem.

I tried last night at home, and again thismorning at work, both times I get the Processing Data message, and nothing happens.
I've tried both with and without a picture.

Someone please help

I was using Firefox 1.07 on Win XP both times. After reading some of the other posts I tried it with IE 6.02 and it worked 1st time with a picture

Older versions of FireFox will not work on the character creation page and many other pages throughout the GalCiv2 website.  Please upgrade your browser to the latest version to ensure the best compatability with the website.

Yeah it is definitely broken...

I put in the character name "House" and the serial off of my jewel case and no image, and a popup sais that the serial is invalid and to please copy the message and send it to the administrators. I am using XP Pro and the lates versions of firefox AND IE.

Any advice, or should i just not buy stardock games anymore?
