How to remove the "Flagship" at the start?

What file do I mod to tweak ships and money in the sandbox type of maps, I want to have the same kind of start as in the "Epic" custom map.

Oh, and exellent game btw!

There is no way to do that ATM, but we'll eventually be releasing the map and scenerio editors for players that want to make their own starting configurations.

Bless you! I HATE that the weakest ship in my grand Galactic Fleet is my Flagship. Kind of wrecks the immersion for me.

I just want to be able to transfer the flag.

Why dont you just change its name. Unless you are refering to a literal flag b/c I have never seen one. Or you could upgrade that ship. I always upgrade it mid game when I am not exploring anymore.
