WOW! What a great game! You guys know what your doing. I've been waiting for 10+ years for someone to get it right! Finally! I thought Moo2 and a bit of BOTF was the only fun I was ever going to see. Well I was sure wrong! This is a peace of art and dam love in game making. I wish more companies had your class and GREAT customer treatment and support. Never grow so big you forget where you came from.

PS. I swear you guys are stealing my mind!!! I was as a kid planning games in my head like The Corperate Machine and The Political Machine and lets not forget GC and GC2!! Everything about your company is great! Everything! I sure hope and wish one day I will have something to offer you in skill or something that will allow me to work for you guys or with ya! Im 36 now so I need to learn to build games soon before its to late.

You Stardock fella's have a lot to answer for. To think I only got into Gal Civ about a month ago... and just for something tactical to try. I was bored, couldn't find a game to play so searching through GamefaQ's I came across the Gal civ board, read the reviews, and thought hmmm sounds about up my ally.. I'll give it a try. So I obtained a 'copy' of the game. Needless to say, I didn't actually buy it at the time. I had my reservations, and thusly wasn't sure paying for a couple year old game was worth it. However after trying it, I realised my folly. Came straight here, unloaded my haxor's copy, purchased the original and expansion, updated to the hilt, and preorder Calciv II all in one foul swoop. After having been around here more and seeing how you guys operate you've join the list of game companies, that I will buy on realease games no questions asked... and thats only reserved for a few developers. I also have gone and bought a Total gaming package, All the object Decktop package as well.

To think I was brought here from obtaining a not so legal version, and have since become a customer for life (as long as said standards and quality keep up). You guys are really doing everything right, I can't fault your company at all.


P.S: my apologises for taking the dark side to obtaining the game originally. Beleive it or not, I'm not one to usually pirate my games, and I genuinly do purchase games I like even if I got a haxors version first. I beleive in supporting games companies I like... just not paying for something I don't like. Theres demos true, but too often there like movie trailers, and give you all the best bits in one go, and leave nothing of substance in the retail package. Course doesn't make my actions right, but as my disposable income increase now I'm getting older, my tendancies to pirate also are becoming less.

I recently encountered a feature in Stardock Central that has lead me to make the following statement:

STARDOCK IS THE PREMIER DEVELOPER OF GAMES IN MY EYES

It was the chat feature that allowed me to talk to people solely about GC2 and problems related there off. If you've taken a look at the "overheating" thread you know about my problem. And within five minutes I was able to find an amicable solution. This may have been due to my computer ineptitude more than anything else, but hey if Stardock can overcome that, well thats saying something. Once again you people have, at this moment, my favorite forum, favorite support, and most important of all my favorite game. You guys are great.

Yes they are. Don't overlook the Desktop products they have too. I have always been happy with DesktopX.
