When will the Dread Lords come out in the game?

In the Campaign, they appear at like mission 4(maybe 3) called Siege.

In sandbox, regular game, I am not sure.

They do not come out in the normal sand box mode, however there is a sanario with them.

They do however show up in Siege for the first time.

Will they potentially be added to the sand box mode like the Alterans (is that correct?) from MOO2?

It's been floated around by Stardock. I think the hiccup was that there's some balancing issues.

it might not be a bad idea if the dread lords appear in the sandbox mode. they can come out when certain civilization achieved a certain level of tech. Then it won't be a problem with the balancing issues.

It seems such a waste for the sexy Dreadlords ships to just be in campaign,they should be random event in sandbox.

The stardock programmer Cari said they were already in sandbox mode, but this guy Mormegil said they are not.

i wouldnt mind seeing them apper as a really really rare even, where either you see them appear for a split second then disapear and get a message that you have been scaned and processed, then later in the game having the ship reapear only to destroy a single fleet or planets population. I would love to see someones face right before they send in their biggest badest fleat to decimate the other guys having that fleet disapear or even better having thier main $$ planet decimated to the point that you are going into debt by keeping the fleet, forcing you to dismantle the whole thing

you see, if u have played the sandbox mode... you will realized that in 10 yrs game time half of the civilizations will disappeared from the game. And I think It is necessary for the dread lords to come out at some points just to destory the dominating race or weaken it. Other wise, the sand box mode will be soo boring that i would probably stop playing it for its lack of creativity.

Count my post as another vote to see the Dread Lords appear in sandbox mode. I'd LOVE an Alterian-like enemy to crop up in the game.

Yeah, Stardock ppl, please add the dread lords in the sandbox mode, cuz many ppl would want to see them in the sandbox mode. + if it possible to make the AI less aggreesive? Becuz what happened in the sandbox game is that the AI killed eachother before I have the chance to kill them + is it possible to add an option of making a civilization a protectorate of another civilization? or establish a puppet state instead of conquering it?

Antarans were the race from Moo 2. (Though they were largely inspired by the Andromedans from Star Fleet Battles)

yeah... i would like to have to dread lords come out with their sophisticated technologies so that everyone has to work with eachother in order to defeat the dread lords...
