No graphic

hi all,

I've issues to see ships and planets, it's like no textures nor graphics was installed although I did install everything (Core game + sounds + tuto + video).

So is someone know what i need to do ?

PS : I've update my driver and i run under directx 9.0c, I got a 7800 gtx and 3200 amd.

window Xp (no sp1 nor sp2)

to be clear instead a ship i see something like the skeleton... without color

No service packs? Most games require at least service pack 1 these days, and so does windows update.

yes i haven't any service pack but do you think it could prevent the game to run properly ? I mean I can launch it...

I have the same problems on both my laptop (ati mobility radeon 9700) and desktop (geforce3 ti 200). Planets and stars are just empty circels and my surveyor ship is invisible. The colony ship is visible.

I've tried fiddeling with settings, run in window mode, restarting the game etc. Nothing helps. If I can't get this fixed pretty soon I'll ditch the game and return to civ4.

And, yes, i run w2000 with all SP's and updates.

Darathor, yes, you should go to the Microsoft Update page and download the service packs as well as the critical updates.

I had the same problem. I changed my Windows settings for language and location from German/Germany to English(USA)/USA and it seems to work now.
