You can't have fleets in orbit?

I don't understand this...I keep getting destroyed because when I get attacked, only one ship defends at a time. Am I doing something wrong? I'm making sure they are in fleets before sending them into orbit...

You need to research and build an Orbital Fleet Manager. That'll fix yer problem right up well and good, (hyuk).

you ahve to build it on your planets, personally i put 2 or 3 ships in orbit then use my fleets as a barrier against enemy ships by attacking them before they can get close enough to attack my planets.

Ya, I just keep fleets close enough to defend cause they dont' stand a chance 3 to 1 or 4 to 1.

Step one: Research the logistics tech tree branch untill you get the tech that allows you to build "Orbital Fleet Manager"

Step two: Build an orbital fleet manager on each of your worlds

Step three: Heavily fortify all of your worlds with ships

Step four: Phone the Drengin, Admit to cheating with Lord Kona's wife/breeding slave in an insulting voice

Step five: Watch the OFM in action.
