Game Crashes when trying to save ship designs

Every time i make a new ship design and try and save it the game crashes on me. This a huge problem as i am stuck with the stock designs with the basic weapons, armor and engines. Any help would be apreciated

I have the same problem intermittently (about one in two times I save a ship design). Also, the save dialog often appears behind other dialogs and I have to dismiss them to find it. Anyone else getting this problem? Any solutions?

I believe that we have fixed the problem of the ship design prompts appearing behind other windows, which was causing the crashes. While you're waiting for the patch, don't go to the shipyard from the starport, go there from the main game screen.
