Why isn't my download resuming?

So I would have had GC2 downloaded two or three times by now if download resume worked. What's going on here? There's a setting in the Internet settings area of Stardock, but it doesn't seem to be doing any good.

I can deal with a slow/long download, but having to get through 4+ hours without dropping my connection once isn't going to happen.

I really would like to see a dev talking about this no-resuming problem but it seems they are purposefully ignoring all topics talking about WTF THE DOWNLOAD DOESN'T RESUME...

Come on, if this SDC is just a download manager why it works like a crappy housework project when compared to Getright that never loses a download?

Why it don't use CRC or any basic tech to assure the download is not going to be lost or corrupted? I'll never going to use your crappy SDC anymore. It simply sucks! I hope the game is worthy of all this headache and a software lightyears ahead of this SDCrap.
