Custom Race Problem

This isn't a "whats the best combo" thread so lets get that out of the way. I made a custom race and then saved it. Played a few turns and then decided to go back and recreate it. However when I try and select the abilities and click in the box thing it the X will flash in it and do nothing.
I'm sorry for having to add to Stardock's troubles because it truly is a stellar game. Played the first mission on the campaing. Quite fun. You guys have done an excellent job.
Hope you can help me. EDIT: Ok apparently the problem stops if u simply exit out and then go back in to it.
Shocking to be sure. I did that once and didn't work guess 2nd time's the charm. Sorry Stardock for spamming 
But back to your excellent product
