Sound not working

I just got the game, and it looks great. Problem is, I don't have any sound for some reason. I've checked to make sure that the sound options are checked, and they are. Sound is also definitely working on all my other applications. I'm not quite sure what to do here.

You need to download the Multimedia module from Stardock Central. Just select Galactic Civilizations II from the list, then click the + button next to it to display the modules.
