Downloading update

It has arrived! At least for me. I just did a check for updated applications and it's downloading galciv2.exe right now. Looks like they've heard our pleas and have released the game early.

Damn them, though, because I'm just leaving for lunch with co-workers.

Perhaps they always planned on releasing a bit early. This spreads out the load on the servers a bit.
