Widescreen Support?

I have not seen any screens showing support for widescreen. Am I going to be able to play at 1680x1050?

There's a screenshot in the screenshots area that is wide screen.

GalCIv II supports any high resolution your monitor can do.

I just noticed this in the new sticky (STICKY: Having an IN-GAME problem? Here are some tips!):

(2) The game will run in any high resolution your system will support.

This also seems to say that I am well. Sorry. Just too damned excited and can't wait.

No problem.  BTW, you can also run the game in weird resolutions if you run it in a window.  So you could have it run at 1024x1050 in a window.

Good; My laptop has a 15.4inch widescreen display. 1200x800 is a great res for gaming if its supported (especially when running on a 6800Go chipset!). Oohh eta 12hoursish. Frogboy, If gc2 improves on even 10% of what its featured to, hereby offer to have your children. Well, find someone to have more children for you.

Actually i'd be happy with just the ship designs
