Iconpackager Breaks my Start Menu Email Shortcut

I installed Iconpackager just recently and downloaded and applied a few icon packages. Everything works fine when I apply them, except for the email shortcut in the Windows XP start menu. Instead of pointing to my email program (Mozilla Thunderbird) it brings up the internet properties dialog for Internet Explorer. Even more strange, if I change the shortcut to Outlook or Hotmail it works fine. What the hells going on and how can I fix this? I have Windows XP x64 for reference.
