Yes.

If I update the readme or alter the files and republish things (like the launcher for the pre-load), it updates the revision at the end so it knows to look for updates.

There have been several more internal revisions since 1.0.0 went out to manufacturing.

OK, pretty cool. Most publishers publish as 1.0. Updates before release are pretty cool. Typically Stardock.

One thing that no one can deny is that Stardock is a great group of people, ready to listen to any sugestion, to answer any question and reall these guys love what they are creating, I have been involved with Galciv since 2003 and I can tell you that they always have been there for any question, sugestion or problem. I can say that GC II is going to be a hit and the new expansions coming soon will make this game better and better. They already proved when they created Altarian prophecy as a sequel for Galciv I. So lets keep bringing sugestions, questions and inquiries and you can be sure that someone will answer to you very soon from this great team of hardworkers people.

Without "actually" "knowing" what's going on, on the inside... I can tell you that since the game went gold there has been some critical bug fixes and some big AI tweaks.

The "Intelligent" AI is getting bigger, badder and meaner by the day... and it still has a long way to go. For example, it doesnt currently take advantage of the Upgrade Ship ability! (I think it was due to some game balance or quirky behavior, but it's coming soon to an AI near you) I fear the day that happens.

Basically every time we do anything it updates the revision number.
