WB5 Help

I have been having trouble with installing both Stardock Central and WB5. One problem that I've been receiving is that when I install it says that I do not have the right settings for system configurations and that I need to install from an administrators account. The problem is that I only have 1 account on this computer and that this account is set as the system administrator. I'm also having a problem with WB5 telling me to reboot every time that I try to open the program.

Try installing in safe mode. There you will have two accounts, admn, and your current one. Choose admin.

The message is why WB requests reboots constantly.  An app on your pc is preventing the WB installer from writing some of its registry keys.

The usual suspects are anti spyware apps which think they are helping you (but preventing legitimate apps doing things too)

Neil,

Quick question...kind of along the same lines...I have been using the trial WB5. I am sure I want to purchase the enhanced version. If I uninstall the trial version and install the paid version will I have to reinstall all my skins again?

you want to copy or move your skins to another folder somewhere if you'r not downloading/installing through SDC


if you install through SDC make sure to have uninstall skins too unchecked
