WB5 Loading Inconsistently

I am running a purchased version of WB5, have been since it came out, and since the beginning I have been having trouble getting it to consistently startup with windows. I'd say about 20-25% of the time, windows starts up with the standard Win2k-style visual style. There are no error messages or anything, but WB doesn't even load the tray icon when this happens. WB Won't reload on bootup again until I physically start the program and re-apply the skin I was using... Then, as before, I'm hit or miss.. Sometimes it'll work on bootup, sometimes it won't. I'm not getting any error messages or anything, so I'm a little confused. I have reinstalled the program once.. And for the past few weeks I have been using Stardock Central to keep WB5 up to date.

Running XP Home on a Dell Inspiron 9300, 1.6ghz Pentium M, 1 gb ram, Nvidia Geforce go 6800. Other startup programs are ObjectDock free 1.2, Yahoo Widget Engine 3.0, McAfee Securitycenter/Virusscan, MS Wallpaper changing powertoy, and my Widcomm bluetooth driver/tray icon.

What is the version of Nvidia Drivers you are using?

using video drivers v81.87...
(not sure why this thread didnt appear in the windowblinds-specific forum.. i could swear i had it selected..)

If these are the most current drivers available, then try rolling back to earlier versions.

They are not the most current.. Looks like the latest driver version is 83.60.

Alright, here's what I have done..
I uninstalled the 81.87 driver I was using...
rebooted once with the standard 'vga' driver, wb loaded fine. ran Driver cleaner to elimiate all traces of the nvidia drivers, rebooted again..
wb did not start up this time. (this was with the default MS vga driver, mind you)
installed nvidia's latest 83.60 driver, rebooted a few times. and wb5 didnt startup on the 2nd reboot... so i manually started it again.. this is really aggrivating.
