Blacked out screen

When I launch OD+, sometimes, it blacks out the bottom part of the screen when on the desktop and I'm not using it. When I run my mouse on the bottom and put it into view, everything's fine though, but then when I go back to something else, it goes black. Is there something fixable?

Are you running anything like games or video when this happens?

Are your drivers up to date?

No games. No video, although you might have something in that I think I'm looking at a website with quicktime in it.

Does that help? When it happens, I'm forced to restart to make everything peachy again

possibly it's tied to the 'video overlay' issue(s) I've seen posted - about different dvd/video players and OD.

Are your drivers up to date? If so, maybe a rollback will help? Most current quicktime (plugin?)
