HELP, can't find my cd rom.

I need some real help folks...I formated my disc and trying to reload windows XP. I have been through my computer bios and have set it to boot from my cd rom drive. I am getting this message saying "not found". I have exhausted all my options to try to reload my computer and have no success any help is needed and greatly appreciated.....

I have tried the disk om this system...the one I'm using now....and everything loaded the way it was supposed to....

I've been at this for a couple of days now..so I'll give it a rest..and try a new cd rom install....hopfully it'll work...if not I'll be back. Thanks jafo...you've given me some food for thought....I appreciate your help...even thought this is a skinning site and I should be asking skinning questions...again...thanks

I started a pertinant reply after post 19. But I got distracted {stupid job!} and didn't hit submit until post 30.

By that point it had no relevence . . . thus the piss-poor editing.
