early game I usually make a single unit of an observer or some such. Later on I only make parties of troops. Is there a way to take three single observers and combine them into a party... what key strokes do you use if you can?

"The reduction of equiptment cost" and "option to turn off tactical animations" are the two I am most looking forward to on this list. I play on a "Marginal hardware platform" and can only play in cloth mode (which is quite fast) but tactical was real slow, now it will be much faster. I always chcukled at the fact that I can train a party of Guards, all with leather and maces for about the same price as what it would cost to give one mace to my sovergn. You would think
No you didn't. If you mean CivRev, then maybe you haven't played Civ 4?
Yup that is what I meant, Civ Rev was nothing more than a stripped down version of Civ4... made playable for the xbox controller. Actually the dumbing down of the game made it a bit more enjoyable I thought. Less menutia.

Thus far i am still really enjoying the game. i loved Civ 4, even bought the xbox ver of that game and loved that. I would say this game is even more more fun than Civ was. I like a lot of the mechanics of it. I love the tactical combat, I also LOVE the fact that I don't have to go through it if I don't want and can opt for auto-complete the battle at any time. Frequently I will take out all the big units with spells and hit the auto complete button for the mop up duty. </

I bought it last week and must say I am really enjoying it. I realize that my saves will be useless after each patch is released but I am ok with that. I love Sandbox type games and LOVED Civ4. True some of the game needs to be balanced better and there are a TON of spelling errors and the like... nothing too bad. The game is complicated and it very well might take several weeks to get really good at it and really understand it. True, it all might change, but I find it hard to believe

Nevermind, I actually read the license agreement (available only after your purchase the software). My question was in there.... YOU MAY: 1. Install and use one copy of the SOFTWARE on a single computer. 2. Install a second copy of the SOFTWARE on a second computer only if you are the main user of this computer (home computer or laptop for example). 3. Install the SOFTWARE on another computer only if you change your main workstation. In
