Or else what?

Sensational headlines like that, which doesn't even reflect what's in their own story, is just the type of thing that causes people to mistrust the media. They've backed off on their original headline, and the ensuing comments have disappeared, but it should have never been the headline in the first place.
Yeah, exactly who are these users not being given a choice? In any case, given the fact that IE7 is more secure and more standards compliant, I'm glad Microsoft is encouraging everyone to update.
How about Burgess Meredith ?
In a tabbed world, it only makes sense for each tab to have its own throbber . Even though Firefox has both, I think the overall throbber is redundant.
You could always create a larger image with Photoshop or whatever, with only that small image in the corner on a white background, or whatever color background you want.
Glad you guys found my link useful.
You could always do what this guy did. http://www.blumpy.org/100/
Or you could use Windowspaper XP. http://www.sodabush.com/products/windowpaperxp/index.php
They haven't released it yet. How do you know they won't have different colors? They did with XP, so I would expect the same in this case, though hopefully even more so.
Will IconX and DesktopX be upgraded to IconV and DesktopV, respectively?
Exactly, people will bitch that it either has something or it doesn't have something, so they might as well just carry on. More install options would be nice, though.
A default theme should be simple, yet pleasing to the eye. I think the new light blue theme accomplishes that (though I'm not sure why they didn't just make the buttons match Aero's buttons). This is certainly a step up from Luna!
Go to the CCleaner homepage and download the slim version. It does not have the Yahoo toolbar. Or just uncheck the option during installation of the full version.
Looks interesting. Thanks for the link.
I guess a $10 discount looks a lot better than a $2 discount.
I don't think I'll be making use of it any time soon. I personally trust Microsoft infinitely MORE than Google.... Exactly what are you afraid they'll do with your information?
So much for $20 being too expensive. It would be nice if the developer would return to this topic and address some of the issues brought up here. It's beginning to look like simple hit and run spam.
Windowpaper XP is your friend. http://www.sodabush.com/products/windowpaperxp/index.php Link It's always cool when you're looking for something you can no longer find, and Google points you back to your own link.
I'm currently using the HerbRemix skin, and I can't see how it could be any easier to read the time. The date and the day are a little small, but the temperature and time are clear and easy to read. I do have other issues with the program, though: 1. It won't play any sounds at all here. I speculated above that it was because of my install location. But after playing with it some more, it's finding the sounds; it just can't pla
WMP 11 is a huge improvement, IMO, other than they have some resource issues to deal with. Of course, it's still beta.
Imagine if you were told that there was a finite limit to, say, the switching of an LCD 'pixel'....that it'd only switch on and off a fixed number of times before dying....how many people would think "Unnecessary switchings are just that...no savers for me...."? Since I already know that, it doesn't apply t
