Mine is not listed! The one I regularly use that is...So I'm not voting either way - I guess well I do use the new one by SK on my XP Professional tho... Intrique then... I have a master skin that has been around for a long time now - the which has been completely redesigned for Vista and works very excellent! Gona be a hard one to ever beat! Not saying what it is either.... heheheeee But with SK's new one I've done my own trillian skin and just about everything else ov

Believe me SK there is a lot more to just this story. Seems there are other problems which can or are created by using an improper GUI substitutes with none other than Office 2007. I'm currently working on a possible policy error. Which I'll call it for now - but could turn out better or worse. My hopes are that WB 6 has used the new Aero GUI for it's base format. This will completely solve all my ideas of what may be the problem. Thats with Office 2007 and new programs being made around the
I'm sure everyone knows of this program. But are you familar with the newest Beta release and how it shows up with Vista? I've given a few screenshoots here to show just that. But the current WB skins do not skin the program correctly. Thus neither does having WB configuration not skin the program. Reason being the new GUI is made directly for Windows Aero. That also being the fact for the new MS Office 2007 GUI. The first set of screenies here are of the Aero GUI and second of a W
Really good!!! Sounds like it is a go... T minus and countdown is running well! SGT
It is a very good program and does very well for the people at home who have a lot of stuff! I use it here! SGT
Test it - SURE! I'll take this to where no skinner has gone before... I have a massive library of skins that need to be worked on. That and if I can forget about work too! But this looks like a good work and everyone is to be thanked highly for all they have done. Looks very well made and has the best Vista skinning issue's resolved - it seems. This is one of the reasons I renewed my subscription for 2 more years here at Stardock also! Excellent work pep's! Love ya! SGT
Say try tga's for the MDI buttons and upgrade your graphics. Thus you will find no more problems with WB5.51 and even your 5.49e will do better also... The problem is mainly hardware and drivers for your graphics. Nice color for the skin there. But I've tested both versions here with what you have posted. Except for the skin in question you are using. Where with my system there is no MDI probs or other flaws with wb5.51. And that as of for what I also use for Vista. Try another s
Sounds like a NAP problem in sorts. But it is more likely to be security settings for user in properties for .exe files and other files needed by WB. You may have installed a firewall in the past and uninstalled it - but the regs where not converted back to the original state. Sometimes this can be a bad problem with both XP and esp. Vista! Vista also has a way of doing things with defender that if it does not operate correctly due to a shut down by like same enviroments as a firewall or anti-vi
Did they charge for any of these rips? SGT
It's just terrible that Stardock does not do house calls - like the geek squad! Just think of the money one could make?! I think you should buy another computer and make sure it's a Mac or something. You sure you are using Microsoft products on that hunk of junk there? Well sure you are - it's all you can afford. Or did you even buy that? Try this on too! I've been using Stardock products for a good while now. Sure we have had our ups and downs. Just as every other software com
I need to get one of those machines! I've always got tons of dvd's and cd's that have private info. That we have to burn to keep the info safe. Funny - well kind of - if you like things being destroyed. Great vid too! But Vista works very well here and at work! So I quess it is for the people that understand computers... maybe - you think? Oh well who knows? SGT
I almost bet there is apple software on these systems... heheheeee that and a few other apps installed wrong too! Vista will do a lot of stuff wrong - when there is a good reason. Check your logs for system errors and app loading erors. If it comes back to some of the system 32 files. Then your Vista needs to be reinstalled. This time be sure to not just put any apple software or something that was related to the log file reports. [Inspect the log very well... it is your
I got to get down there and make it out to that Kings Cross every tuesday to get in on the fun! Got to be good!!!!! SGT
Microsoft Windows XP Build 6000.vista_rtm.061101-2205 Why is it saying Microsoft Windows XP here? It should say this ... Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium Build 6000.vista_rtm.061101-2205 Did you upgrade your system from Xp to Vista or is it that you have a duel boot system with both XP and Vista installed? If it is a duel boot - check to see where the wb config file is located. Which partition? If not - I would look into
I would try this here and see if it works? I've heard it does. But have never had to use it myself... WWW Link SGT
You say that Adobe Photoshop CS2 does not display properly...? When you installed it was the UAC [User Account Control] on or off? If it was on ! Then uninstall both WB 5 and esp. Photoshop after you have turned the UAC off. CS2 can do strange things to a system when istalled on Vista Home Premium with the UAC on. I would consider uninstalling SDC after UAC is turned off and reinstalling with UAC off. Then install WB5 with UAC off and then the Photoshop the same. Wit
Happy Birthday Brad! Hope you have many more SGT
Hello everyone I just saw this thread and it looks like all has been said. But was there anything for sale at this website? Or was it they just give everything away free. In the past few weeks we have been tracking some hackers from Russia. Which have been more than just offering stolen copyrights. [those that where] We have also found they use a lot of stuff to gain access to peoples computers. To take control! I hope no - one has downloaded and installed any of the sk
OK here we go gona give this the Vista run down beta test. Looks good too! Nice work all at Stardock. SGT
I think he has more here than just a problem? Not sure - but sks locks up on me trying to edit this skin! SGT
Zoomba & Island dog need to take a bow you contributions are most definitely appreciated & I as well read the articles but do not always comment. Like wise here and it seems we over look such hard work. Keep it up no matter. We do notice even without taking the time to comment. Bad excuse on my part! SGT

Hey Paul while you was out shopping... Did you by chance think of buying a new computer? Go Vista maybe !??? The monitor looks nice !!! - I must say! SGT
Good to hear from you Nimbin. Hopefully you will be better soon. making skins can be very theraputic and absorbing. But beware: it can take over, like some insidious mind control device... I agree with Fuzzy skinning is therapeutic They are completely right about skinning. But no matter it is a good way to spend time. We all can't wait to see what you got planned there. So get well soon and n
