The biggest problem is the type of tests they do for these illnesses. By the time they are finished you have no shred of dignity left.
Geez, not another Aussie for cryin out loud!!!!! Just kidding Jessica. Welcome . Look forward to reading your stuff.

Beautiful story. Would love to hear some more of them. I know the Aussie natives have some great stories.
Exactly why I left my former career. Life's too short to worry about 'long term goals' and to work yourself to death. Yeah, we have to work to pay the bills and have some food and a few 'treats'. Most of ours 'needs' are really 'wants'. We could really live without them. But these are the very things we work so hard for and pretty much miss out on living. I know exactly how you feel. Been there.
The only reason the turtle got stepped on was because he had his head in his shell and didn't see the foot coming. I read this somewhere a long time ago. I guess I've always been an 'attack head-on' kinda person, but I know there have been times that retreat seemed like the best choice. I'm just too stubborn to take it lol I can understand though. Lately, I have been giving seroius thought to just walking away from everything. Packing
Wow. I'll have to look for that article lol
It really is relative to the situation. To me, you are a child. Still have a lot to learn. To my neighbor, I'm the child who still has a lot to learn. A lot of it is experience. Jo Ann is a few years older than I am, but I have done more, been to more places, and experienced more in my years than she ever will. She has always lived the 'safe, normal' life where I have always been something of an adventurer and traveled all over the world. Hell
Believe me, I enjoy (and am guilty of) sardonic humor. Just wanted to make my position clear (because I have committed both 'sins') with regard to the points thing. Humor is humor and above all else I believe we need a sense of humor to stay sane in this world.
What exaclty IS the recipe for ice anyway? Jo Ann used to ask me this same question. I had absolutely no answer for it. But them she had no answer for why she always left the kitchen cabinet door open so I'd smack my head on it when I walked in there in the dark. I know she loves me so I won;t consider it was in revenge for the toilet paper roll We males are pretty much a thoughtless bunch when it comes to these little daily chores. I
I did the kite thing once. It really does work lol I bought a plastic frame that is designed to hold one of those plastic bags in the shape of a trash can. It's perfect for my rig. When it get's full, I take the bad out of the frame and toss it in the trash. It's great. I would like to know where you still get the choice. Around here, nobody has paper bags any more. For carrying and holding power, I think they were much better. They a
100,000 miles in a single year is a lot for a car. That's almost as much as a big rig put's on in a year. You must stay on the road all the time CC
There have recently been two articles written that kinda made me stop and think. Am I being chastized here? Or inulted? Or am I just coincedentally invloved? One article involves writing articles with express intention of gaining comments. OK. I did write one "list" article which asked for people to add to the list. Yes, the article does ask for input (comm
Interesting. One very good exercise that I do form time to time: Be in a nice safe quiet place. Do some relaxation exercises to settle yourself and be good and calm. One you have relaxed fully, beging writing. Do not have any subject matter in mind. Just write. Write whatever comes into your mind, no matter what it is. Keep writing for at least 30 minutes. Longer if you like. DOn't try to "think" of something to write. Just w

BTW, I like the title for your blog. WIsh I'd thought of something that good.
Welcome bro. (He's my baby brother). Just write what ya feel. Don't worry about making it some kinda masterpiece. (Hell, I never do) I thought you'd like this site, that's why I told ya about it. Just what we need, another member of My family here. (heavt sarcastic tone). BTW congrats on the ordination. you're only 4 years behind me on that lol
And who gave them a drivers license? Holy smokes! I swear, they may be nice people in person, but them behind the wheel of a car, and they turn into Mad Max! No concept of lanes or turn signals. Just willy nilly all over the place and forget about them reading the signs. It's construction season, which means lots of detours, you
Could be better I suppose, but not too bad. The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory! Here is how you matched up against all the levels: Level Score
I got a phone call from Sears this morning. "Your order has arrived, you may pick it up any time". Order? What order? Turns out Jo Ann ordered a new stove and range hood about a week ago. I knew the old stove was on it's last legs (chicken of course) and I recall a discussion wherein she said we wanted to get a new one. Guess I must have said "OK". O
I'm the strange neighbor down the street. Very nice article dharma. Some of these folks do tend to grow on you, don't they? Good to see some positive energy here.
Big difference in helping or giving of yourself, and being a doormat.
