I need some movie titles. I go into the video shop and I can't really think of anything I want to see. For the most part, if it is a new release, I probably already saw it in the movie theater. My parents grew up on a farm so they learned how to fix a lot of stuff. When I was a small child, my parents bought a real fix-it-upper (better called a finish-it-upper maybe). I remember him installing plumbing, doing drywalling, gyprocking, installing fiberglass and hanging cabinets. I asked him recently if he learned that on the farm. He told me he went out, bought a book and taught himself how to do it. I think people can fix a lot of their own stuff

I recently wrote an article titled, "Self-Learning is Hard". I am still doing on-line tutorials. I just finished one about Adobe Illustrator for web and now I'm working on Photoshop for Web. I am learning a lot. I just upgraded from Photoshop Elements to CS3 and it's a huge leap. I was not too bad with Elements but I'm really learning a lot now. I'm also getting to the point where I don't have to repeat things as much because there is some repetition.

Actually, there is no tipping in Japan but I don't usually stay in a hotel here.
I tip. Also, if the room service has been extra good or if I asked for something that was a hassle I will leave a bigger tip. I usually leave it on the day I check out though.
That was great! It took me a while to sort out the close up. At first I was thinking that was a pretty soft and fuzzy spider. Kinda cuddly in a not get too close to me kinda way.

Yeah, that woman was very cool. Makes me wonder about randomness of disaster or doing the right thing early rather than late. I think that the way that story ended was true horror, not because it was splatter but because the true horror of trying to do the right thing and then finding out that almost every decision made was wrong. I remember talking to one doctor at a clinic. I had brought a list of things I wanted to ask him about. He was a bit impatient but went over the things with me. Somehow we got to talking and he mentioned that female doctors were less productive than male doctors. I mentioned my surprise and he explained it was because the female doctors spent more time talking to the patients. I barely restrained rolling my eyes because that place was a walk-in clinic

Thanks for the nice comments. :) I swept up a lot of the dirt but skipped the wet rag part as it was supposed to rain the next day. I scrubbed with a brush while it was wet. Better, but I'm gonna have to scrub the old fashioned way, too. :( There were three kinds of lavender to choose from at the garden center. Crazy! I got the English type which also grows wild (?) up in Hokkaido. I don't really smell the herbs while I'm sitting outside. &n
