¡¡¡OLÉ, OLÉ, OLÉ, OLÉ.... BRASIL, BRASIL!!! Oh man that was BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm not Brazilian, but we've been rooting for them since before I was born. My dad is in love with the country, so if you come to my house you're more likely to hear Caetano Veloso than any local musicians. We suffered in 1998 (cried, actually ) but Sunday was glorious! Germany played a superb game, but Brazil's brilliance just

I feel far more in control and at home with my PC than I ever could with a Mac. I can tweak my PC till the cows come home, I'm not locked down into what a manufacturer thinks is best for me. I don't feel free to "think different" with a Mac. These latest ads sound like they're in the same vein as those dumb AOL commercials... "I get so excited when an instant message pops up!" Simpler is not necessarily better.

I'm fairly sure my ODN sub expires this month (I gotta check my "receipt" email to know the exact date). Anyway, I intend to renew it, but I'd be using a different credit card. What do I do? Do I order again as if I were a first-time buyer, or do I email someone in particular specifying I want to renew an existing sub, but with a different card?

Why didn't the death star just blow up the planet that the rebel base was orbiting (rebel base was a moon orbiting a planet). Pretty big plot hole. I'm gonna guess the DS super-mega-mondo-laser-death ray took a while to reload and thus they had to use it on the actual moon? Other than that, I have no explanation. I haven't seen AOTC yet (won't open in Venezuela till July 3 > ) but I c

Wow, I go away for a few days and all hell breaks loose How can we have a 100-reply thread just to arrive at the same conclusion we've known all along: Custo's admins are killing the site with their attitude.

When I purchased ObjectDesktop, I made a backup copy of it on a CDR. It's been pretty helpful, as I've re-formatted my hard drivwe a couple times since then, and I've been able to restore my Stardock progs with minimal fuss. I might be moving out of the country sometimes in the next year, and would like to take my CDRs with me (I have one full of freeware programs I've collected over the years, another one with Stardock programs and themes, etc.) My question is, are there any legal iss

When "the people" pay for the upkeep of the site, "the people" can call the shots. We get the content for free, man. Considering the guys at Stardcok foot the bill, they should have the final say on what's acceptable and what isn't. They can't host an unlimited number of files, so they have to have a rule system to determine what makes it on the site.

Bad move... A lot of casual users just want the XP bar. If you let them have it with the shareware version, I think less people will register, even though they can have access to dozens of different bars once they do. Personally, I'd keep the OB shareware the same as it always was, and dangle the XP bar as an incentive to register.
