Also, new minors introduced during the game convert these into PQ15 planets very nicely.

Good morning Diplomats. As we all know from GCI, the MV changes slowly if at all. Recalcs generate all kinds of unhappiness, but the current situation certainly makes the MV less fun or useful. I am doubtful it will change anytime soon.
Interesting thread. Bugs should be fixed as often and as fast as possilbe. For some reason I run into most of them and everything I do I quit playing for a while hoping that a fix will come out soon. My last bug was the Treasury Bug where all of a sudden you end up 2B+ in debt that takes 60,000 turns to work through or a 1000 play years. I wonder what the score would be like after a 1000 years, assuming that you did not get wiped out by the AI whild you had no money to do anything with.
Those are really cool planet buildings. Are there restrictions on what can go were - sort like an input and output requirement?
Yeah, but those who really want to come up to speed quickly undestand the value of a FAQ. For you guy who have been involved in the past, take a cut a creating a FAQ of what you believe are the most important questions and answers.
Good morning Diplos. Yes, Chip, that is a problem. If you want to maximize score for a single game, you must micro manage everything. The alternative is to play many lower scoring games, which has its own defect in your MV score as it gets divided by a function of the games played.
Galactive Civ I was an outstanding game that kept my attention for several years. GCII has not captured my attention as much yet, mainly because I keep running into game killing bugs that make you throw the game away after sometimes a week of play. Hopefully Sins will be fully debugged when released.
A good gaming pc should have at least 2GB of memory and a good video card. Video cards are probably the weakest link in most PC that users have. It is easy and cheap to add memory, but video cards improve every 3 or 4 months and they cost what a barebones PC costs (since that is what they are)
Rank does not matter much to me, but I do like to help people understand how to play the game better. When people like a game and there are not major bugs to frustrate users, then one can play the game for a long period of time.
Ok, The game looks interesting. I am bored with GCII and maybe this will be better for my style of play.
Good morning Diplos.
Good depressing morning Diplomats. If I think back on GCI vs GCII, I think GCI was more enjoyable and playable longer. Maybe one should think of GCII as a warm up for the real game that will come out soon. GCII and the MV together are a depressing combo.
Good morning. I would like to play for fun, but I am still recoverying from two full days of playing only to receive the Treasury bug and had to throw the game away. Not sure I want to start another game real soon.
Ok, I just saw that I was reducing the deficit amount by an amount equal to the net income. So that part is working. But, what it means is that I am debt by 2,138,605,700 right now. I reduce this by 38,616 per turn with an approval rate of 78%. If I increase the approval rate, I decrease the amount of net income, as one would expect because you are lowering the tax rate. The population is slowly increaseing and is at 1.56 T people. At this rate of reduction, I would be back in the black in
Good morning. I would have had one to submit for around 80K if the Treasury Bug had not killed the game.
I am in the end game of a gigantic, all abundant, tight clusters, suicidal game. My treasury was about 500K and my net income was 25K per turn or so. I had completed researching everything (tech victory turned off) so I replaced my research tiles with stock markets as my military was beginning to eat into my revenue stream. After replacing all research tiles, buying a lot of them, but not 500K worth, I finished the turn. The next turn the Treasury was -214........ a very large negative numbe
Yup, I have seen that in several games as well. Two AI, neither expanded more than 8-10 planets and then quit.
Good morning Diplos. No, DaMoose, not dolphins, killer whales on the menu. Gotta keep you snacks lined up properly.
Good morning Diplos. Uh, DaMoose, just don't practice you frenzy attack on the snacks, ...errr... the Diplomats.
The distance is dimenishing - I can now smell their odiferous exhaust - they must have had beans for dinner
Hmmm, posting while in class. My how things have changed.
work? WORK? How do you let that ainterfere with your life?
Good morning Diplos. We have the Orcas in sight now and the Vulcans are ready to attack
Good stuff Chip, taste like chicken
Good morning Diplos. Enjoy every game knowing that you are saving baby space seals from the Orcas.
