Ho hum. I've been sleeping too much lately. Get home from work, take a nap, wake up a few hours later, get something to eat, tool around on the internet, watch some TV, and go to bed. Just ignore all the things I should be doing, like cleaning the bathroom, doing the dishes, and organizing all

Well, of course. What other countries are north of America?
Ironic, isn't it? Researching miniaturization makes components take up more space.
Finally, T-Shirt Hell has created a shirt that I can be personally offended by if I so choose. It's about damn time. Us white guys always get left out of these things.
I seriously doubt it. Especially if we were at the same technology level as they were. And a turn is one week, not one month.
The starbase becomes mobile, and it can attack (and destroy) a star system the same way you would attack a ship.
I just got a trade offer from the Iconians. They wanted me to give me "Chaff" in return for my "Soil Enhancement". But the text says they want to give me Soil Enhancement in return for Chaff. Also, it says "if" instead of "is".
please can we have a centre mini map on selected ship/plannet/station - whatever c (I don't know why it's not on the list.)
Plus, it'd be kind of dumb to show a beta version to potential customers.
Well, the people on this forum can vouch for Stardock and the awesomeness of the original GalCiv, but you have no reason to trust us more than them, so that doesn't really count. I agree with you about not paying for a game without playing the free demo in most cases, though. I just made an exception this one time. Hope to see you back here in March!
In the tech descriptions, it says that the projectile weapons fire at extremely high velocity, not "in a slow silly arc toward the enemy from 2 sides at once". You should be very glad that I don't work for Stardock. I would be so tempted to change the description instead of the graphics to add

And if I order the CD, who should I contact if I don't receive it by next February?
"the original plan for was for tomorrow, however, we can no longer garantee (sp) that we will be able to keep that promise!" For the record, the original plan was for last Thursday. Just being nitpicky.
Instructions will be sent to the email address you used to order when beta 4 is released. Anticipated date: Thursday.
That's actually what we were discussing when this quote came up. There's TVGuide.com giving out the listings for your area for free, and my new cable box has a screen where you can browse through the listings, select the show you want, and go right to that channel. So obviously the old reliable TV Guide needs to change formats or wither away. But she doesn't currently have a working computer or anything fancyer than a coaxial cable going from the wa
"It's like People magazine, except it sucks." -- My mom, on the new TV Guide.
Sheesh. That's a whole lot of memory. I sometimes see Firefox's CPU usage shoot up, but I've never seen it use that much RAM. Anyway, I just dropped in to mention that BugMeNot has a Firefox extension.
I finished reading Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister today. A quality book. Emotional. I don't think I'll ever be able to read the fairy-tale version of the story the same way again. Pick up a copy of it next time you're at Borders, or your local library. Anyway, the other day I we
Bah. I want technology to get out of bed for me.
I have. T-Shirt Hell I need to get me a baby so I can put this shirt on him.
I need an alarm clock that doesn't trust me. When I'm barely conscious enough to figure out where the sound is coming from, what makes you think I can be trusted with something as dangerous as a snooze button? Sometimes, after the third or fourth time it beeps, I just turn the thing off. And t
No fair tempting me with shiny things.
I have a talent for understanding people when they aren't making any sense. It sometimes comes in handy for playing Catch Phrase. But don't think I'm going to become Lowa11's official interpreter. I find his posts just as painful to read as anyone else does.
Here's the article I was thinking of: https://www.galciv.com/index.asp?action=full&NewsID=525 I had thought Brad had said "Master of Magic" outright in that article, but it looks like he didn't. But at least we know that at this time last year Stardock was planning on making a fantasy game after GalCiv2.
