So I seem to have 2 instances of Fences under the startup tab in task manager. Ive seen this happen in the past during an update when something miniscule changes but ive also seen this happen in cases where 2 startup items need to be launched in order for the program to function correctly. Are 2 "Fences" items the norm? Or is one incorrect? If the latter, do I delete the one in hkey current user or hkey local machine? Somehow it seems to have installed
I'm apart of the Windows Insider Dev channel, and as such received the Windows 11 update. One of the first things I noticed quickly is shown below, the rectangle shape of the tabs doesn't get rounded with the window. Thought you guys might want to get ahead of this Edition: Windows 11 Home Update: 21H2 OS build: 22000.51 Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 421.16300.0.3 </blockqu

oddly enough i can reproduce it on both pc's albeit the coloring inside the folder portal is slightly different. its a darker shade of blue with a reddish font on my other pc. whereas the blue is a bit lighter with a grayish font on my main pc. either way its different in the folder portal than everywhere else on both pcs :( winversion is 19042.964 fences version is 3.0.9.11 using dark mode no windowsblinds or font m

the ability to auto move files from a folder portal to the desktop (for fences auto sorting). this request was born from a terrible issue thats been plaguing me forever. Chromium based browsers will create a temp file and begin auto downloading a file to your "default" location before you even choose the save location. This results in files I download to my desktop not appearing until I auto refresh ala right click or F5. A workaround ive found is

I'll have to revisit it. Been quite some time to be fair. Will post back in another thread/relevant forum potentially requesting features if thats what it comes to. Dont want to clutter up this one with another discussion :)

yea multiplicity comes with a lot of pros, but many cons as well. No dynamic switching is a big one. Primary only is problematic when switching between pc's but its a tradeoff ive dealt with at least thus far for some of the other things it brings to the table. Hoping the next iteration adds dynamic switching so you can control any pc from any pc and mac support. If that makes it in im likely locked in for life. multiplicity has gotten me to lo

So i've recently begun to take security a bit more seriously. Better late than never. I set up windows hello on my home pc's and got a fingerprint scanner for them. If for nothing else for convenience and its certainly served its purpose. The one hiccup is where typing my password into one pc would also log in the others, it now seems I have to fingerprint each individually. Not the worst thing in the world but I'd love to b

I suppose thats better than nothing lol. Does that mean it IS formally on the radar? aka WILL happen some day? I figured it wouldnt be anytime soon (of course "soon" itself is relative) but if we're talking a year or two its worth looking forward to. Anything beyond that it might as well be an after thought :P thanks for the reply

So I'm making my first foray into owning a mac outside of VM's. I'm expecting the worst part of the experience to be the fact multiplicity does not currently support osx. Is this on stardocks radar? has it been talked about? can we expect it in the future?
As a test, what happens if you wake the secondary using another wake on lan utility rather than from Multiplicity?
Sorry, just woke up. I tested it and after I put it to sleep I woke it via "Wake on LAN" by aquilatech. Same issue. I cant seamless until I restart the multiplicity service. Then it instantly begins functioning.

yes, that was me and it was/is fixed by ensuring the interface metric is set higher than your physical network card. wake on lan is working. seamless is working until i put my secondary to sleep upon waking it from sleep via multiplicity, seamless will not work until i restart the multiplicity service on the primary at which point i can immediately begin seamless. its weird considering as i mentioned, wake on lan works
