I just finished dl the beta. Might as well try it out on my Laptop and see how far I can run it to before it begins lagging. Quick question. Is the performance of the beta be the same as the final release?
i love playing big massive games. even in Galciv 2, I play the huge maps with a lot of aliens. but my main concern is for my laptop since I would like to play it while on the road and I'm always on the road.
I always got my desktop until then. My desktop isn't that great. It's an AMD 64 3000+ 2GB of DDR RAM 7600GTS /w 256MB of RAM I built this machine a few years ago, but its been running my games pretty well. And as far as the higher end Games like Crysis, I always have my 360 for those since they always tend to port them to that.

I have a Gateway Laptop. The specs are: 4000Ghz + Single Core CPU 1.5GB of DDR Ram Intergrated ATI x600 /w 64MB of Ram My video Card is an ATI x600 with 64MB of Ram, but it uses the System Ram as well and when I look at the card info, it says it has a total of 256MB of Video Ram. I have just pre-ordered SINS, what I want to know is if the game will see the 64MB of Ram or the 256MB of Ram. Do I meet the the system requirement to play the game at a decent rate?

I recommend taking away the label for good/neutral/evil for the game. If you ask any Nazi who the good guys are, they would say themselves and the evil guys would be the americans. It really is all about what side your on.

Kyro or anyone that would know this, I created a custom race using the ingame creator. Now I want to use the customracexml file that it produce and make into the RaceConfig.xml. Can I just cut and paste them in? Would the extra entries mess up the game? Another quick question, How do i point out in the RaceConfig.xml file what ship model that particular race will use? And how do i make my own base model for certain races? Anyone have a link to the particular info i

I'm using the mod folder in the C:\Stardock\GalCiv2\Mods\ and created a custom folder. Where can I copy the default TechTree.xml from and where in the GalCIv2\Mods\MyFolder\ should Put it into.
