OK thanks or clearing the upload thing out for me, maybe there should be some sort of disclaimer before hand explaining this the first time you create one? Next issue is to why I cannot apply any that I create, nor for that matter any that are supplied with that app. I downloaded it via impulse and have gotten the updated version. I even tried uninstalling it, rebooting and getting it again with a reboot inbetween and still have the same issue it will just not apply anything,

I too am having the issue with Theme Manager and the new Skin not being applied. It is not in WB and I cannot find it anywhere on my drive, nor for that matter can I find any of the skins (where are they?) You should release a working app, instead of having is hunt down files on our systems and copying/renaming them in order to work. Have you tried using a clean machine to do these installs/checking/replicating the issue, as you will have the file

Wincustomize Browser shows FAILED whenever I try to download something. in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

For the last 3 or 4 days, whenever I use Wincustomize Browser (either through SDC or the Wincustomize Browser App itself) I get an error stating "Failed to download" in the downloads tab, and the status of the file is changed to "Failed" Have you stopped us accessing and downloading files using these apps in order to force us to use, IMO, the inferior Impulse which doesn't have option of checking for recent/updated themes and skins? Didn't know whether to post here or not, but couldn't find mycolours in the forums. I received my update notification in the email and re-downloaded the pirate desktop as I had lost the last download :( Anyhow, when I apply it I do not have live folders, they just default back to the standard windows folders :( Currently using Vista Ultimate 32bit Other suites seem to work fine (Cosmos, Magic etc)

Fx 2.0.0.13 + Fx 3 b5 does not work, IE7 is fine. So you only get an ARK, mainly as you can't ship it as it is, and it shouldn't be too AARD to make it work with the rest of the browsers :)

I am loath to use this fully as I get numerous updates for software (latest one is saying that an update for logonstudio vista is available, installed 1.00.002, available 1.00a[a].017. Surely the available update is older? I have beta updates in SDC and that doesnt show it. Also right clicking and choosing history just gives an error page stating the webpage cannot be found. Whats up with that? It happens on all histories. Also how the hell do you find out what version

I agree 100% that a Vista/Live Folders tag would be incredibly useful, especially on some of the paid for skins etc which contain icons but they aren't Vista compatible even if the actual WB skin is. Hopefully if the above post is true though, this will be alleviated with IP4? Is there any release date for IP4 yet, or even when a beta will be on SDC? I tried Impulse but it constantly tries to upgrade (downgrade should be) to an older version :(

When installing this it asks to connect to "vip1.cdn.cachefly.net", as well as address' which are related to Stardock (38.98.152.155 etc),the "vip1.cdn.cachefly.net" I understand is a adware/spyware address. If I deny the installer access to "vip1.cdn.cachefly.net" via my firewall it fails saying that it cannot download updated files. Is SD knowingly using an adware/spyware address and if so is that how I got the trojan in the first place and had to format?

how can i tell when my subscription is up? Run Stardock Central and click where it says Registration Info on the bottom right hand corner, this will then display your registration information including the expiry date of your subscription. After installation of this I cannot apply any skins as there arent any listed, and the WB UI is entirely black. I uninstalled WB, rebooted, reinstalled and rebooted again same thing. After that I uninstalled again, rebooted and then deleted c:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\Windowblinds and also C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\Windowblinds. BeLGaRaTh67, did you read my reply, #280, are you running a wide screen wall on standard monitor to have it centered, seeing background color above and below it. Molten is no more hassle than any other skin that has background color set different than what you want it to be.
