Sometimes when you see stuff cheats are worth enabling. I was playing primals game the other day and his sov was swimming. I'm not sure what mods he had. But when you see odd stuff like that it's worth looking at. I actually would like a replay feature added to the game, in the way distant future. In Starcraft I generally try to review all my matches. Sometimes after reviewing my games I realize that my opp

So you basically play the 'same' template to defeat the ai as I said in another thread. point proven. People find a template that works and they tend to use it over and over. that's not outthinking the ai that's just outthinking the mechanics of the game over and over. Play with random skills and traits (roll them up or draw chits) and don't use those mages every chance you get....do something else. I bet you won't win so easily or hands down then. :))
There's two losers now, they are quite rabid on the internet and forums. lol
Games good games are built to have the deck stacked against you. That's how one determines how good the ai is. The stronger the uphill battle to the win the better the game is Who wants to play some mansy pansy wimpy ai? Losers I would say that want to win at all costs. They can't take a challenge and never play a human.
At first I would like to mention some things that I didn't like and how I managed or suggest to overcome. I don't like to start in poor location with low Grain/Production/Essence and need to press Ctrl+N many times
That's cheating the ai for one thing no wonder you don't like so much, you cheat all the time
I edited tiles for all resources that they all give at least some essence and made maximum number of til
It's not roleplay or faction it's how well the ai performs in that particular game. The games I listed had exceptional AI's whether scripted or not. They were challenging and made me think, that's the importance of an ai that it makes you think about what to do. Too many of these games you can build the same template every single game and you win. All you are doing is just playing against the ai a DELAYING activity. That's no fun. I want some worry and fear when I pl
I'm curious as to what AAA Ai I'm supposed to aspire to. Which fantasy strategy game has better AI and why?
The AI and the number of difficuly levels in Gal Civ II. I've always enjoyed playing that game because of all the choices. I don't see that in Elemental. I don't feel that in Elemental. Elemental feels 2nd grade compared to Gal Civ II's ai performance. But, other AAA AI's that are not
Quoting Raiddinn, reply 37 Well, I was playing a game on ridiculous with a tiny map and 3 other players and I was holding my own, but on the year 204, the game crashed and I was never able to play another turn regardless of how many times I reloaded. Pretty anti-climatic way to end things I have to say.I didn't get to compare mana for obvious reasons. This is a vital crash. Its vital because
So the AI is STILL basically broken and no challenge at all? If they are just sitting in one spot and not building anything then this is just another game of delay until the inevitable happens. The human player wins.
Well, I'm sorry you think that way but we all can't be genius's. I bought this game wihen it was Elemtal:War of Magic. I expect by now for the game to be FIXED and the AI to be in AAA performa
So the AI is STILL basically broken and no challenge at all? If they are just sitting in one spot and not building anything then this is just another game of delay until the inevitable happens. The human player wins.
I disagree with the way the OP wants the ai to build. Everybody doesn't play the same or like the OP so the AI shouldn't either. He's presenting an optimum strategy that he uses. The ai shouldn't have to mimic him or copy him. Just because he plays that way the ai should never play the same. The ai should be a separate entity not a clone. Each should play differently than the next and only the difficuly levels should change the way they play by the amount of advant
Using the ai to fight other ai is an exploit to me and I won't use it. I'll trade but that's about it and I don't do that that often. Usually when they ai wants something good. It's all too easy to beat an ai when you exploit it so no victory is a victory it's just time wasted in delaying the inevitable, Losing is more fun than winning.
There's no need to work on extra classes when there is so much other stuff that needs attention like ai performance. Besides most of those classes you want are just a mix of what you already have. The warrior with healing ability from life magic is your paladin, your beastmaster selection is your druid, along with earth elements, it's the perfect combo. Just use your OWN imaginaton, instead of the devs they have other things to do. More important things :_)

Sorry your dumb attempt at trolling me isn't going to work bucko!! LOL Fact: NO MULTIPLAYER IN ELEMENTAL OR GAL CIV I or II. YaY lol you lose. LOL
I see the simpletons responded to my post but nevertheless I am right and I know I am right. Cheaters always cheat and look for easy simple strategies and ways to win. If you want a good game of it and a challenge then 'random' play and picking traits is the way to go. ;l) Don't be a cheater or exploiter you'll always find games unfun or no challenge if you cheat or exploit. :)) Stay away from templates and always choose an alternate character every game. : One g
I've read of it but haven't seen it myself. I just can't get into this as much since they CHANGED so much from Fallen Enchantress with the Heroes. I liked it the way it was......just like I said in another thread the more of the series they make and the more changes the less I like this game like before. They have fallen from grace, broke their own statement about player commandments and just generally lied to us and used Steam. I hated impulse but I liked it better tha
There is NO MP in Elemental now......and that's the facts. If you can't accept that then there's no hope for you. I don't really care as long as there isn't any right now. :) I win you lose. LOL I also could care less about Gal Civ III as we all know games only get worse as the series continues, look at Civ V and HOMM IV -VI......POC games. I wouldn't touch Gal Civ III as they'll add stuff to it I don't agree with or want so they lo
Primal_Savage: IGMO.....lol what's that? Adhominy, strawgurl, emo? LOL da
I generally take anything random that I can. I don't sit there and read every little detail trying to get the optimum set. That's one of the things wrong with players is they want optimum sets everytime they play. They basically can't stand to lose. I on the other hand love the challenge of trying to win with random choices or sets. Anyone can pick a winning combination how many of you can win with any character and any traits? Not many I can say easily because you've be

When I'm running the game great with my setup and as old as it is that proves my point. Laptops weren't made for GAMING. A lot of you like to think they are but they are not. Others here have even agreed with me laptops aren't the best. lol &nb
that's it then. No opting in no workie. :_)
Quoting willie sanderson, reply 95 bad example using Civ 5, it's the worst of the civ series and has the worst ai. Someone hasn't played Civ 5 recently...
someone will never play civ 5 again. recently or future. lol CIV II and CIV IV rule all the rest are craptastic.

If this game doesnt work on any laptops, then it's literally the only game that doesnt work that way. I understand how system requirements work. Having an Nvidia card is your 2nd problem. I used to use Nvidia and then I finally moved over to ATI Radeon c
