A backdoor deal with pirates to clear out unwanted Influence Starbases. Thankx, Prof.

I`d like to add to the recycle thread from Blundaar but go a little further, Let`s see a branch added to the research tree, with several levels and planet tiles to enhance income and approval from recycling. You could make a planet specilize in recycling and when a ship is orbit, a big payoff could be generated from its salvage. Each planet could benefit from a basic
Well, after about 10 hours of playing the game on my Vista 32 / ATI HD2900 machine, I must say that the 1.6 release has been spot on, no issues or crashes. Well done. Prof.
Well, here`s another debug.err file, before I upgraded to the new ATI drivers (v7.5) and the new beta files. I tried the save game with the new ATI drivers before installing the new beta files via stardock, but in the end, the mine models still are hidden. Thankx, Prof. ==============================Debug Message: Version v1.6 beta 5 Dark Avatar las
I`d like to point out that I`m running the new HD 2900 ATI Dx 10 driver from the website and it`s shown to have a few rough edges. I`m not an engineer so I can`t be specific but I`d take my posts here with a small ( ) grain of salt, until ATI / AMD gets a little more Dev time on this one. That goes for XP as well. Thankx, Prof. <img src="http://images.stardock.
Well, a screenshot is right now a little past my expertise, but the close up model is missing, or somehow behind the asteroid itself. The zoom out icon is showing ok, tho. Also the bonus lines are showing ok. As to the crash, I uninstalled and re - installed only the D/A files via the Stardock manager to the latest beta files again. This got my Gal Civ /DA game starting in Vista 32 bit again. The space miners show down in the asteroids as they should.<
Well, that didn`t take long. That is, Vista 32 with crashing with a little error message about stopped working. Well, here is the degug.err file. Enjoy, Prof. -----------------------------Debug Message: Version v1.6 beta 5 Dark Avatar last updated on: Wed May 23 12:40:53 2007 Debug Message: Checking DX Version. Debug Message: ********
I should add a litle info since I can`t send the debug.err file. This is under the latest ( since yesterday ) beta files in Gal Civ / DA. Thankx, Prof.
The symptom is there are no mining post icons showing on the whole map. The mining post can be clicked and the circle shows but no icon for the post itself shows. The space miner will build and upgrade normally anyway. Pulling the map out shows the four spot asteroid icons. This system comtains a new ATI HD 2900 XT (DX10) video card with the latest drivers fron
Unfortunately this issue has been lost forever. The system that hosted this software no longer is alive. But the good news is there is, in it`s place a new system with some cutting edge hardware. Also, ahem, a little problem with the gal civ / da beta software. See my posting under " Vista hides my mining posts " for more details. Thanks, Prof.
I`m not an Gav Civ / DA expert, but this is definitely not normal. After the new beta download (SDC shows .096 and .006 for DA and the Heightmaps, The planets start flashing on and off. This is ac- companied with heavy hard disk activity. This is, as I say, new to DA. I`ve got two swap files on two separate drives. Other than that I think your Debug.err files says it all. Good luck. Are the HGRMod files still approved for the new (1.6 beta files)? Thankx.
Great to find a update for GalCiv2 (Dark Avatar). Only one question, is there any new conflicts between the High Res. Def. Mod and the new beta files? Ok, maybe two questions, Are saved games ok with the new game files? Thankx.
Thanks, Kyro, the part I needed was "return to work tomorrow". I`ll just wait. Prof-
A few days ago a zip file was available titled HGRMod_v102_patch.zip Is this still an authorized patch to the HGRMod setup.exe file linked to above? And... why isn`t there a link to this patch around anywhere anymore? thankx
If a fellow reader can post complete instructions on how to attach the debug.err file to a post here, I`d be happy to share my info with everyone. Thankx,
