So I have just finished a few rounds of FFA with the AI on Nightmare difficulty and now that I'm used to the game mechanics and all the new features I'm not encountering resistance anymore. I basically get four to five planets, do some research while making some units, then just take over the galaxy. I do this by creating a medium size fleet and then taking a few extra planets. I then use all the surface slots to increase the garrison and max out heavy factories and hangars.

I have come upon an issue in the game both early and late, so I don't think it's a memory issue. When I zoom onto one of my ships, double click it to follow (focus), and then use the right mouse button to rotate around it my whole computer crashes and restarts. ROG Strix G15 AA, Ryzen 9 5900HX 3.30 GHz, Radeon RX 6800M GPU, 32 GB 3200 Mhz Ram, Samsung 1 TB SSD.
The planetary movement thing is pretty incredible. I wasn't sold on it at first, but it is fun having to go through all my planets and reorganize things when a planet or two get's disconnected from my main cluster. A really cool addition to that feature would be external stellar objects. A rogue planet would come from outside the current system and have some kind of unique characteristic to it, such as increasing economy, research speed, upgrade all weapons/hull/shields/
What is the purpose of selecting bombers and fighters when I mouse click and drag to select ships? This doesn't happen to the colony frigate (it doesn't get selected) when I do this. When I am doing this to select all the ships in a gravity well I don't think the fighters and bombers should be included. If micro'ing fighters and bombers is a thing maybe a button or some other method to select only them in a gravity well would be better.
When I queue ships on a planet I can drag and drop to prioritize which ships gets built in what order. I should also be able to click on the ship icon and increase the number of ships built as well. I should also be able to ctrl+click to increase in increments of 5 just like from the build ships menu. I would also like to see a "reinforce fleet" button or something to that effect. If I am assaulting or defending a planet it would be great to hit a "reinforce current
I will check this out. I assume it auto allocates evenly across the abilities? I.e. linearly at this point? No optimization algorithm to maximize fleet effectiveness?
Since we can have a lot of capital ships now it becomes difficult to quickly select the abilities for each ship. It would be nice to have the option to select all ships of a certain type (Kol, etc..) and pick their abilities in a single button click. I know you can use the supply tab, but the contrast is bad for the abilities to see which "+" is lit up. It would also be great to pre-select their upgrades and in which order. I don't see any reason I need to constantly
For the research tab it would be nice to better be able to tell which component has been researched. Right now the yellow outline is hard to see. Maybe a zoomed in and out image when researched or not. The research items should be more clearly identifiable as a either a true research item or a component for starbases or ships. For each research level it would be nice to have a button for "Research ALL Level X" to complete all the resea
I think it would be/look better if the planet upgrades formed a ring around the planet, so you could see on the fly which ones were in the process of being upgraded.
Per the title what is most important feedback right now? What do you want to change quickly and what will be in development for a while? Some of the feedback posts on here are REALLY long. So let us know what is most helpful at D-Day?
