If you got the CE via download, you have a few new jewlery items to decorate custom ships with. They are identified as Collectors Edtion or something like that when you view them in the Ship Builder. If you have the boxed version, you also got a printed Tech Tree and a cool silver box. Tony

You have to log into the Metaverse before you start a game. If you did this, it should prompt you after you finish if you wish to upload your score. If you did not log into the Metaverse before starting the game, there is nothing you can do now. Tony

Is relocation that big of an issue or is there something about Plumouth, MI that people should know? I think it is just not an area people tend to think of as a big tech area. You know, it's not silicon valley. It also can get very cold and snowy there. Tony

It was in GalCiv1, and from what I gather, did not make Galciv2 as of yet mostly because of time issues in getting the game out. It may return in a future update or expanision pack. They are called Terror Stars in GalCiv. Tony

Stardock works well for me as well. Never had a problem. I understand the frustration of those that are having problems, but it is not a complete failure for all of us. Tony

Not that I disagree with what you're asking for, but here's another suggestion as well. Don't use tactics that destroy buildings on a computer planet you plan on using. I'll gladly send 5 billion soldiers to their death rather than 2 billion if it means I don't have to use tidal disruption. Exactly, a

Why not just have the ability to downgrade a tile ? Simple and would work easily with the UI. The AI still has to be able to deal with making decisions like that. I think its all about making choices. Do I upgrade and obsolete, therefore making future structures more expenseive? <br/

Once the tech is researched to build an upgrade, you can only build the new strutcture. You can't go back and build a lesser structure. If you have your economy up and running, it is usually not a big deal to just buy new structures you need. And if your economy is really cooking along, you don't need every structure on every planet anyway. I know folks have asked for the ability to build an older structure, but I think it works

If I have tech traded for Harpoon II, why is my "intelligence service" stealing Stinger III? I notice this a lot when invading planets... I'll end up with a tech I've traded beyond and have no use for. I think it is completely random in what you get once it is determined you stole a tech. Your agent

Were you having crashes before the beta? It is expected to have some crashes with a beta. It does look like you do have a repeatable crash, so that is useful for Stardock. Does it still crash if you start the scenario over, or only if you continue your save?

Oblivion has been talked about and anticipated for months. For many gamers, it was THE release they were waiting for this year. Galciv2 is awesome, and has sold very well, but did not have the build up hype and anticipation Oblivion had in the gaming community. I am guessing both reviews were written over a month ago, and PC Gamer knew Oblivion would be hitting the shelves about the same time the magazine would be hitting the new

Trade items are unique, stand alone items. Not only do you get the benefit of ownership, but they can be pretty valuable to trade access to with the AI. There are many things that can influence when the great wars begin. Larger, more spread out galaxies, or smaller numbers of opponents will slow things down. There are some scenarios which start with you further up the tech tree so you don't have to research all the basic military techs to
