Bumping for new patch...

Is there patch notes anywhere?
Tourism really isnt that important. There are way worse disadvantages
Honestly those numbers are pretty low for your turn counts. Your pop numbers are WAY too low for turn 125. Delete a bunch of buildings, add farms - all your numbers will increase. I will be creating a guide on how to build a decent economy over the next few days. Also Iconian tree is arguably as good as Thalan. I usually play with this.
I left you guys a good review. While I thought mercenaries didnt give all that much for $20, I really appreciate the hard work you guys put in for the 6 patches prior (and 1.7!). The scope and potential of this game is really ambitious, so it will always be hard to match expectations. If the review helps lift sales and pays for devs working on patches, im happy. I'll be really sad if you ditch the continuous releases. Infact, it might actually make me actively dislike the game, or
Obv that's for terran. Yor is different.
The key to the economic side of the game is understanding the importance of population, morale and their subsequent effects on raw production in the midgame. A few tips: 1) the planetary governance (raw production +10/20/30/40/50) tech line is utterly amazing. Grab techs from it when they are available as soon as they are available. 2) the pop growth tech line is also really important. 3) don't underestimate morale. It's important. Raw production and pop
This is a big improvement to the gameplay mechanics. Much needed, great job
The only way I can compete on godlike is by timing the pragmatic ideology trait perfectly. You want to hit it at bout turn 50. That's about as far as I can normally push it before drengins or yor declare war. Spend the next 30 turns minimum just smashing out tech and economy. At turn 30 of enforced peace, start researching military tech. At turn 40-45, swap to building out the biggest military you can get at the tech level you have achieved by roughly turn 90. You really shouldn't bui
So can we can some patch notes then? That way we will have something to talk about...

Well, one per planet per tech age would be OP, but three tiles total is really underwhelming - especially on any of the larger map sizes - even if they can be placed anywhere. Surely there's a happy middle ground here?
Yeah that sounds like a balance issue.
Delaying until thurs would be a tactical error - I feel like the crossover between the xcom and Galciv demographics is probably fairly large!
Phew!!! im extremely biased - I just want to try it out before being consumed by xcom2...
So Paul when's the founders beta? :)
Also early next week = xcom2. Fail!
Nooooo Early next week = much less beta time!
Weekend is here. Beta testing time... Or no, if stardock miss the deadline!
By pete i meant pshaw!
So pete when you unlocking beta for founders?
When is the founders beta? today? :) The more time for feedback, the better...
Well, I agree for patrol ships and offensive invasion fleets. Small ships could really find a niche in key planet / starbase / shipyard defense though, where their lack of movement but superior fighting capability would make them extremely difficult to dislodge
If they allowed more than 1 shipyard per planet small ships would be really good. But, they dont, so...
It would be good to get ideology balance looked at. Some low level perks are way better than their later counterparts..
