Ok I didn't realise there was a plug in for PS to save as an ICO file, it seems to work however I still have problems trying to save as different sizes in IconWorkshop, It only seems to want to save as 16x16 and thats it, I must be doing something wrong somewhere

It reads like he want's a signature for forums at a size of 720x300, making an avatar from that image above would not be wise as it'll just end up looking like a coloured block

Can't see any option to save as an ico from PS, and again all I get is save as PNG no idea if its true colour or 256, there may be options for these but I have never come across them

Ok i'm trying out some icons, I made one in PS and saved as a PNG and opened it in icon developer and Iconworkshop to see which was best etc and they look as they should, but once I save it as an icon all the edges become very rough and loose the smoothness, Its a circle icon so it ends up looking like a cog with all the straight edges...any help and ideas appreciated

An SLI motherboard is a great investment, you dont have to have SLI cards but the option will be there when the time comes to upgrade, I just spent over £1300 on building my own gaming pc and I still have extra's to buy and a whole load of room to expand, Just don't buy 2 lower end cards for SLI when you can usually spend the same on a better card that will do the same and still leave you the option to get another and double it, I have a 7900GT 512mb Golden Sample which is more than adiquate for

I think it'll be worth buying once the games etc start flooding out to support it but as it stands its simply not worth it, why buy a washing machine that will only wash one item of clothing...that has no comparison what so ever but you get the point
