There are a couple of ways to do it Leonhart. If you are familiar with coding, you can do it thru the UIFILE. Or you can slice the image you want to use on the Logon in 3 parts. The top and bottom part should be 1024 X 88 and the center part should be 1024 X 592 [assuming you are using a 1024 X 768 image]

Dr1Z, you need a program for every skin/theme you download. For instance: Window skins, you'll need WindowBlinds. Icons, you'll need IconPackager Mouse cursor, you'll need CursorXP Logon screen, you'll need LogonStudio ...and so on. I dont think he wants a website exactly like amazone.com. I think he was using amazon as an example of how his friend wants to sell things thru the site. Building a site of the magnitude such as amazone could easily run up to the 6 figures. I might be wrong, but I think the idea Kona's friend have is of a simple site with the ability to sell items.

A good graphic program with similar properties as PhotoShop is PaintShop and The GIMP. Paint Shop Pro goes for around $99.00 US The GIMP is a freeware.

I totally agree with you WOM. I think the reason why they post a lot of 'Help Me' treads here is because sometimes it takes a little longer to get an answer in the other boards. It took almost a week to get an answer for a question I asked in the other board. CrazyWillis. Open SkinStudio, then open the skin you want to assign as the Main skin. On the top toolbar click on Tools>Create Compound Skin The Compound Skin Editor window will open. Click Add and browse the folder of the skin you want to place as a Subskin and add the .UIS file. Click Save and you are all done.

I agree with Bones and the slightely late IR The skin is good, simple but very smooth. A darker shade of gradiant around the buttons will accent the glass effect. A good tip when taking a screenshot is to show more skined windows eg. explorer, drop menu, control panel, etc. A little darker wallpaper would also bring out the windows.
