So, basically what I noticed during making a video, is that when I'm in a replay mode, and the player I am watching gets bought out, then if I go back to observing mode I can no longer switch to any player's perspective. You can see what exactly I mean from this video, it happens in 19:50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbTVmamL2JM&feature=youtu.be

I'm just glad you enjoyed them :)
the problem with intentionally taking debt is that it can be easily countered by just buying him out last for 0 $.
I made another video with more AI players, the game is longer, but I also talk about some new tricks. Also, the funny part is, which I will explain in the video, is the AI loses cos he chooses to upgrade HQ basically. I will talk about efficiency, evaluating cash at and how it all relates to the end goal - buying stock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwIf5jDsvjg&feature=youtu.be Also, f
1) What you basically want to be doing is to selling that resource which price difference in offworld and onworld is the largest. That basically becomes the profit. You can even say that offworld market makes me (price in offworld - price in onworld)*100/60 $ per second. Since the best price differences are usually around 200-400, you should be making 300-600 $ per second with each working offworld market. 2) I kinda disagree, the thing is you pay auctions with debt money, and since y
I agree, this is awkward, in these situations it feels like the debt should definitly come with it. Then however if that player had cash, it would also make sense that it came with it aswell, then comes the question of but cash is not calculated into the stock price. So it is kind of bad either way. One suggestion is that debt only impacts if you have less cash on hand. Basically if you have 50 k debt and 35 k cash then currently the company price is affected only by 15
Again, if your buildings are turned off, I've been there, when they get Emped, the emp still works, just you care a lot less if you actually had a reason to turn them off, usually cos I was autosupplying and whatever it needed got too expensive.
I have, and it turns out you cannot scrap disabled buildings.
The thing with patents is that since each patent can only be owned by one player, they have to be sort of a key aspect of the strategy, if you lower their price then that just makes it more viable to buy irrelevant patents with "just cos" reasons. Right now they I beleive they are relatively balanced, we as a community need to just think of more strategies to actually start using them. The thing is the game is still very complex to actually start effectively using all the tools at our
Replays do work, at least for me, however it saves only the last replay, and only when you check the replay box when starting out the game.
The problem with catch up mechanics is that they make the game pointless, look at Risk boardgame for example, this is literally the most pointless game in 3+ player format, as if played perfectly, the stall is never ending, only way you can win Risk is whine enough so that others think you are doing worse than you actually are. Anyways, the current "catch up" mechanics are quite decent and what I like most about the game, is that the efficiency of all buildings a player has can
AI is propably stupid enough that you can solve by buying your own stock out, then he buys the third guy, and you buy him out. However I get your point, which is ridiculous, as if anyone chooses to buy you out before you could for example buy both out and then lose right after that, then it kinda starts hurting the game. Though I hope that this late game aspect will be looked more closely before release, currently this mechanic greats a lot of interesting situations, but this mexican
So anyways, I thought of making a video to express my thoughts about how I understand the game and give feedback to devs, as well as let other players better understand some advanced topics of the game. Basically I played 1 vs. 1 against AI with CEO difficulty and went for an early win strategy using Hacker Array. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FSI2c9Vg9w&feature=youtu.be Sorry about my clumsi
Hmm, adding this to the black market would be really good, it would at some point be as useful as new claim, but cheaper, I +1 this idea.
If you look at this picture, you see the colony messages, it says that water and food prices are too high, colony shrinking. You have to keep those prices at bay, also if those prices drop very low, then colony grows faster too.
not a bug, I do the same thing, and I'm not alone. Since currently you cannot just take out debt, then debt money is sort of different from actual money at hand. At first actual money on hand is worth much more, however as the game progresses, your debt is going to start to bite you as the interest ramps up.
one quick thing I'd like to see in multiplayer is to be able to chat after the game, sort of like in Dota 2, where you can gg, troll, complain, give thoughts, whatever.
We're working on a in-game display to show this information. I think it'll be in the next update. -Scott-
That is really great!
Also one more + for team games, is that in a free for all 4 player you should have 25% win chance, in 2 vs. 2 it should be 50 %, meaning more winning :D
I like the idea, also +1 for skype, me and Pb already chat over skype when we play together, more fun that way when you hear the other people screaming of desperation as you send the black armies against him or buy his stock ... also a skype chat group where we could just shout out when anyone wants to make a game and then organise a voice chat would be awsome aswell. Add me on steam if your interested - Eesti orav

my most successful is robotics, most favourite is scientific, but I also enjoy playing Scavenger for the reasons you have states. By the way, as Robotics I start focusing on electronics in the very late game, and just take the debt hit, or second strat is to go for electronics, short it in the hacker array and then sell it at ridicoulous prices as a game finisher. The main strength of Robotics is that, if you just pump out a 4-5 steel mill production, you will just go to HQ level 5 be
Consider having all of the Hacker Array/Black Market abilities on separate cooldowns and be funded by resources instead of cash: H20 really cheap? Buy some and dump it on your competition's PWR plant to cause a short. PWR really cheap? Power surge your opponent's ELX factory. CHEM really cheap? Poison those pesky FOOD farms giving your opponent all his money. O2 really cheap? Supercharge your GLS factor
+1, yes, I agree, especially about the board game feel.
