I would have to say the original auther of Aaron (the System 8.0 look alike extension, and predecessor of Kalidoscope) for the Macintosh. Anyone who had a Mac ran it.

I don't see how Hoverdesk and Object Bar compete. Hoverdesk only has about 1 or 2 XP skins. Object Bar is almost solely made up of WinXP skins (he he).
