I thought I was bugging out at first. I mean the sideways carrot and the + are pretty easy for me to see. I don't know. I guess it's more of a HEY LOOKIE LOOKIE thing.

You could in theory make up to 8. I only did three because my game crashes all the time, and I wanted to rush these pics.
Testing right now. It works if you put the foundries in separate wells and follow the OP's advice. Works in single player. Spread this post like crazy. <img src="http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/52490
They are weird. They are only 100 minerals and 5 crystal I think. They have 3 weapons but only do like 2 damage a pop. I don't even know which weapon is which because they adjusted how far you can zoom in. They apparently die really easily unless you have 500+ of them. The Loyalist one shuts down enemies phasing out of your lane supposedly I think. The Rebel one stops passive regeneration. They are bigger than strikecraf
I love the fact that the bar at the top, representing each ship as a dot, goes off the screen.
The really sad thing is that that happened at around 1000 :O It starts to get unbearable performance wise around that time as well.
I mean the skull thing in the bottom left. Compare the Sova and the Kol for example. Edit: Woops nevermind let me test it Yep you are correctamundo. 200+ hours of playing this game and never noticed it before :P I shall strike it from the record! I have been up for 24 hours looking for fun bugs and posting on these forums. I have gone mad with beta testing!
I posted screens all. Warning, it may not seem like a lot . . . but there are so many that when you zoom some disappear and reappear. Enjoy!
I have a Powerbook i7 2.67MHZ running Windows 7 64 bit Home Edition through Bootcamp with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M with 4GB of RAM. Resolution is 1680x1050. I'm posting a lot of these, and this is my first time doing this so bear with me. It goes Picture First then Description. Here we go! <img src="http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/524906243895564009/6CDE639303F269EF8E1B9711CF3AB8DE96A37167/" alt="" width="1680" heigh
My biggest problem with the Rebels is that they don't get the experience of feeding off neutrals and Pirates. If the bad guy has an impenetrable defense and all you are doing is sending free pirate exp to him . . .
1 and 2 are interesting. I agree with 3 and 4.
My poor mouse clicker. Oh how many times I've pressed you amassing Corvettes . . .
Could you elaborate how you get the other?
So . . uh . . . I annihilated it. Like bodied it. As the Ragnarov. I took off its shields before it even got into range. It only took 2000 points of shield off. Funniest thing? I turned off auto attack on accident. Didn't even need it. Going to try as the Ankylon . . . but . . . pretty underwhelmed. :/
You see a counter. I see a virtual holocaust on a scale that will make my computer melt. Now the problem is clicking my darn mouse 2000 times again . . . .
This is just a quick post in order to gauge the popularity of the concept of adding war paint patterns to the rebel factions' units and buildings as to distinguish them visually from the loyalists. Nothing too tribal. Maybe just blocks or different/artful patterns that give off the "Rebel" vibe. I'm not sure how easy or difficult this process would be. If it is an easy fix, I personally would think it would add a lot of character to the Rebels side. If it would
Good to know. I play on two machines. One is an older desktop with a 256mb card, and I was worried about it. I should give it a go to see how it compares as well.
"Rice is great if you're really hungry and want to eat two thousand of something." - Mitch Hedberg I would assume the same could be said for the Corvettes ;)
Oh man . . . I never thought about "feeding" it and having it go toe to toe with my ships :))))
Whelp I guess I was wrong. Thanks Mr. Haze!
Yeah I have an inkling as well that this bad boy is the Loyalist. Evidence: None concrete but . . . A. It looks like something that eats planets. B. It was mentioned in the gamespy/radar/ign articles about the death star, and this was one of the screen shots. C. The Rebels don't sound like they are completed; however you can BARELY see something in here that is either the A. Rebel Titan, B. the New Vas Capital ship, or C. something that is already in the ga
Yes you can make 2000 Corvettes. Is it worth it? No. It totally bricks your machine. Even with everything set on low. It took me about 30 minutes to move to three planet systems. If you are feeling lucky and confident in your machine, go ahead and try it. How viable are 2000 Corvettes? Well I only fought the pirates and the Artifact planet, but I killed everything because there are so many that the game can't write all of them at once. I only lost about 100 against
Do you have the latest drivers? Could you post your specs? It may help someone who knows more than I do.
Neat ideas. I like the thought you put into the upgrades. I agree with Mr. Haze though. They are pretty amazing as is. Maybe if they got toned down, and then the research brings them up to the godliness that they are now would work . . .
My guess is that you accidentally scuttled or lost a Military Lab and lost the research. You need 8 for the Rebels and I think either 6 or 7 for the Loyalists. That or it's a bug.
My problem with the close range abilities is if you try to pick a group of dudes, the titan takes forever to turn so when it does shoot, it's only like two dudes that get affected. I just leave it on autocast. 4 snipes is 4 dead enemies in my book. Maxed out is like around 10 shots. Yeesh.
