The only difference between my Iconpackages and others is the resolution. The resolutions in most of my later packages include the following: 768, 512, 392, 256, 192, 162, 128, 96, 64, 48, 40, 32, 24, 20, 16 -- all are 32 bit depth only. --Ace--
Otherwise, besides working I don't go out much - although I never did much anyway. Since I work in healthcare there's a 100% chance that I either get it, or have already gotten it - but that's the deal you take when you work in my line of work, so it is what it is...
It’s not going to replace WB or SkinSrudio. It’s for people who want to customize the look and feel of Windows but don’t want to go as far as WindowBlinds.
WOW !! This is what I've been wanting for ages , can't wait to buy it. I don't use Windowblinds or Object Desktop, so this is going to be fabulous as an alternative. -- Ace --
Thanks for all the help. Will update if I do ever get around to trying it on the other laptop.
You are very welcome. The Filesman Program is a great alternative when changing icons, I have it on my computer as well. I also have a gallery of over 40 IconPackages you can download for free, right here on Wincustomize should you be interested in expanding your collection --<a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/users/398

On Monday, my mother passed away from complications from the corona virus. Her name is Emma Lou and she was 90 years old. Apparently one of the employees at the nursing home was asymptomatic and passed the virus among many at the facility which is located in central Florida. What makes it especially sad for us is that mom had just begun to regain her strength from a fall that resulted in a few broken bones. My sister and her family live close by so mom w
As for: "You CAN NOT just add an icon to a COMPLETED iconpackager folder ...", good point. I might be getting ahead of myself as I don't even know if I can get this all to work yet, but for new additions, do I just continue the numbering sequence if indeed I do have to rename them?
The numbering sequence is not something that you can do manually yourself, it's done automatically by the IconPackag

So.... I watched the video you uploaded, it was a bit garbled so I didn't understand it very well. It looked as though you were trying to customize an already completed IconPackage by drag and drop, which is fine, very easy way to customize a package. I reproduced what I think you were attempting to do and it worked fine for me. I suspect maybe you are missing a step in the process and that is why you are having difficulties, I'll get back with you next time I

o.k. well ....I can see right away what the problem is. This will probably be quite a long response but I'll do my best to try and keep it short and simple. Most people when they look inside the folder of a completed iconpackage think that it is just a bunch of icons loaded into a folder, but it is much more than that. Everything must be precise and exact in the placement of the icons in that folder, including the way that they are named and numbered , includin
As far as I know, Stardock apps work natively only on Windows platforms. However, there may be a cross-over program for Mint, as with Ubuntu, that runs Windows apps within it. I'm not too sure as it has been a while since I dabbled in Linux OSes, but I think it maybe called 'Wine'. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Thank you, I'll use that information to aid in my research. I'm doing some research in the event that I may want to ditch Win 10 sometime in the near future. I need to do my homework now so that I can make a well informed decision. I'm still creating IconPackages so I need an OS that will still allow me to do that. Anyone out there with experience with alternative Operating Systems ? I tried Zorin but it's just not flexible enough to serve my purposes. Thanks in advance -- <span

Well , I finally made the switch to 10 yesterday. I'm glad I still had my copy of Start10 which makes it awesome. I have to admit, this version of 10 seems much better than what I recall from earlier versions. So far so good , can't say that I've found anything to complain about. I'm pleasantly surprised.[e digicons]|-)[/e] --- Ace ---

Taht this topic comes up as often as it does (even if it's pretty infrequently) is indicative of an issue that could be fixed.
Exactly !! --Ace --
