I think that Microsoft really need to look at the whole concept of DesktopX and have it built into Windows Longhorn. It really is very powerful. A year ago, I wouldnt of dreamt of being able to make a stand-alone program with fancy graphics with a quick program turnaround. I have to disagree with Citizen 1ke. I just tried Opera and dont like it at all. 1) It is only free if you have ads on it. (Yuck!) 2) I could not write this reply in Opera browser. (D'oh) 3) And it is not faster than Firefox at all. 4) You can get Mousegestures with Firefox anyway. I have uninstalled it already (2 mins later!)

Firefox is the best browser I've ever used by miles. It blocks popups and anything that might be nasty. You can still use Roboform with it too, which is also amazing. I just wanted to let you know about an excellent extension that is available for FireFox (IE Replacement browser). I use Firefox all the time and was using all sorts of weather widgets with DesktopX but never kept any as they were getting in the way. Now I've found the best extension ever for FireFox as it displays the weather forecast right in the browser itself. Y

I would like to see more Desktop X themes of a higher standard. Ones that completely change your desktop from the boring Windows XP desktop. There are a few decent ones but I wanna see more.

This might sound really sad, but Wincustomize site is the only thing that keeps me alive! I just love coming on to this site and checking for new programs/skins/stories etc... and then customizing my computer to how I want it, and not how Microsoft wants it! I would like all people to know that, although still in Beta stage, Right-click is going to be the best program ever invented! :CONGRAT:

Are you running Rainmeter? I found that if I quit this app, it worked fine. Its a right bugger to quit though, you need persistence! Also, anyone else having problems with IconX? I find that if the icons are shown then the Desktop X menu doesnt work and the normal windows menu is on. I would like to point out to my American cousins that this is not avaiable to us here in the UK. Bummer! And it is definitely geared more towards the I-Pod and why not, seeing as its an Apple website and the I-Pod is an apple machine! Looks good though, and hopefully this will take off over here.
