Wow, I thought I was making my point well, but you helped me so much more than I ever could on my own by calling me "dick". Thanks for that. And here's where I end the discussion - I wear whatever the hell I want, whenever I want. You can't. And when you, your mother or father come to ME for a job, their inability to spell basic English words means I'll kick their unemployed asses to the curb. Have fun getting evicted because Burger King won't pay enough to support you. At least that

Samurize really doesn't fulfill the same function as DesktopX, Kapsules, AveDesk & Konfabulator do. I'll take this oppurtunity to pimp my latest blog entry: Konfabulator for Windows: Huge Dissappointment . Check it out and give me some point whoring love.

Ok, here's something: "In our system, state-operated schools may not be enclaves of totalitarianism. School officials do not possess absolute authority over their students. Students in school as well as out of school are 'persons' under our Constitution." Justice Abe Fortas, Tinker v. DesMoines (1969). So let me rephrase, since my generalization was incorrect: students have rights, they just don't extend to your ability to wear whatever you want.

Not addressing the issues? You're farther gone than I first thought. My reply was well written and very clear - my 2nd grader could understand the concepts behind it. Once more, with feeling: You have no rights in school. You may not wear a poncho because it is easier to hide weapons inside of one. The rules is in place for your own protection. Stop worrying about what you can wear and start learning, because you damn sure need it.

I couldnt resist. I actually threw that into MS Word myself before posting to pick up possesive contractions. When "Grammar" came up I smiled, thinking about the same mistake made on another blog just a few days back. :P

The first step is to learn how to spell simple, one-syllable words such as "makes", "drones" and "worn". Indeed, if I spelled as poorly as this I would fail, as should anyone. Do not blame the public schools for a lack of "Da Vinci's" (I'm sure this is who you referred to instead of the non-existent "Divinci") Once you are finished learning how to properly spell, you will have a better time reading and learning about the climate of repressive teachings during Leonardo's time. Well, it came out today, the long awaited Konfabulator for Windows. Everyone here knows I'm a widget junkie, and I've been waiting to see what Konfabulator brought to the table. The answer: Not bloody much. Here's my first, and very important issue with Konfabulator... it's bloatware. I run an AthlonXP 3200+ Barton with 1Gb DDR400, RAID 1 sata 8mb cache (identical liquid bearing drives), Radeon 256mb 9700 Pro and KONFABULATOR IS SLUGGISH. Thats right, it's slow to open a

Congress makes the law Executive enforces the law Judicial interprets the law I thought it was: Special interests make the law. Judicial pisses all over the law. Exuctive breaks the law.

It happens every month: a new flu or cold cycles it's way through our house. Right at this moment I am sitting here with a fever, aches and pains and enough sinus drainage to remake The Blob. And it's all my wifes fault. She's always been susceptable to virus. From the time she was 9 days old, when she almost died from being sick, she's been fighting off one thing or another. She doesn't like being sick... she used to be a professional dancer, is in very good shape, eats much h

Thanks, it's a wake up call for all of us, even my fellow conservatives... this goes beyond being an enviromentalist or "tree hugger" (as my fellow cons might say) but about our future and our children.

Here's how I feel: No rational civilization should ever, ever deploy its atomic arsenal against another group of humans. EVER. But to be honest, there have been times when Ive talked about needing to "glass those people over", whoever "those people" might be. I seem to remember saying that quite alot after 09/11. Of course everyone knows sand is turned into glass when exposed to very high temperatures, like those of thermonuclear weapons. So, I don't think Clinton should have b

So I posted about politics anyway. Clinton and nukes are two subjects you rarely see in the same sentence. Honestly, I sat down today to write up my entry on global warming, the next Ice Age and why we need to be concerned. And then, re-researching old (and new) links I have on the subject, I kept stumbling across the same figure over and over: human CO2 emmissions account for just .06% of total global CO2 emmissions. Thats so little it stopped and made me think, do we really know whats goi

Why does it matter how I feel? Clintons no longer President, how I feel about his outdated plans are pointless. I do wonder what kind of "tougher stance" people are concerned about. How much tougher can you get on North Korea than by dropping nukes on them from a fleet of F15-E's??

We experience that alot where we live. We make a decent living, live in a nice neighborhood...but all the tennis moms around us have way too much time on our hands. My oldest son just got back from a birthday party where they rented out a theater on a Saturday! And my twins just got back from a party where they rented out an entire game/ pizza place on a Saturday! My kids wonder why we don't go all out... I love my kids, but there's a line where you do something nice and the line where
