yeah ADSL 512k is only £25 a month here, but my problem with them is BT are not going to upgrade the exchange till they get 400 Users for Lanarkshire. Currently only have 130 and this survey thing for ADSL was put out early last year or so, atleast at one stage with some companies here that put numbers up, but since the market had gone upside down few times that finnished them off and is taking even longer.<b

still playing with cans and string in scotland bad thing about living in countryside :/ Been waiting 2 years for ADSL, never! going to get cable. BT wanted to sell me ADSL Satellite, £1,000 or so to install it £130 a month for access :o no chance!

All these little small patches will be in Service Pack 2 anyway, but im not sure when that is due, as i think its just went into Beta for developers.

The slow downs are most likely related because you installed the patch with AV enabled, NVIDIA tells you to do same when installing their software to disable any AV so it does not interfere with installation, when it comes to system files i always disable AV.

Koasati, you need to browse for the file thro import SkinStudio will convert it iirc Tho it seems quicker after you fixed your PSD to save file as 32bit TGA much quicker. Well sometimes knatzz some fonts on system are hard coded iirc and cannot be changed this is why dark skins are evil

Yeah it would help as its a seperate image Woodbridge, you could have actual start button image, then add text start for start button glyph im not sure if it would work as TGA but it should if you turned both tranclucecny switches on

Oh and your arrows wont show in skinstudio as thats normal you'll just see plain background image, its not untill skin is actually running live you'll see glyphs

All the little symbols that you usually draw for the controls over actual images, draw your actual scrollbars then add seperate image for that actual control logo's over the top for glyph section. Set Glyph Transparency to Alpha Blend, and set both Horizontal and vertical to Centre so button symbols are perfecly in centre incase spinners or controls such as small images get crammed up.

Ah David your Glyph images see if you take a look at BBX Mercury see scroll bars and spinner buttons they are using Glyphs, actual arrows over top of scrollbars and spinners so they dont get squashed. Bit hard for me to explain Not sure if many skinners have used glyphs yet..

Bryce is not a friend to CPU If anything ill do in Bryce ill keep it simple then finnish it of in PS, im just sick of rendering time. Hence why i started using Photoshop for Graphics now.
