I was in a game earlier today, 6-way free for all, as Advent, and I found myself noticing a TEC player, RaptorJesus, I think, coming at me. What surprised me, however - He was using Kodiak's and Hoshis. Not a LRM in sight. Not a SINGLE LRM. I was honestly shocked. I actually had around 7 Scouts, 12 LFs, 20 Illums, 2 Carriers(Which had fighters, but on seeing that they were quickly swapped to Bombers. I was going for more of a general well-rounded fleet, btw. I had time.). So while

So you want to replace the Marza with a Naglfar? ... Really ?
If you're talking about trying to repeat this in Galaxy Forge, what would be amazing(and humorous!) to see would be one huge totem pole of planets with the sun in the direct centre.
Personally, I feel sorry for the residents of the terran planet. "Hey mom, I'm going to go swim in the ocean!" "NO, BILLY, NO! THE WATER'S TURNED SULFU-Oh god no.." That, and having a giant doom fleet fly through the lower atmosphere may cause some issues.
If you already bought Demigod; Install it and use the "Add non-steam game" button in the games tab. Personally I don't use Steam for Demigod, but meh. If you HAVEN'T bought it; Tough luck. The odds of Demigod appearing for purchase on Steam are slim to none.
I'll take the 9mil and the Dragon. At least there's a chance of doing something other than making the tank pilot go "Ooh! Pretty! *KABOOM*" in that scenario. Would you rather throw every piece of electronics in your house out of a 3 story window, or say Candle Jack's na
Rook - Hammer Slam Unclean Beast - Diseased Claws(Must..get..back..to..towe-okay nevermind I'm dead.) Leave it. It'd be nice to slow down enemies but nothing quite like ludicrous amounts of burst damage.
Tower Rook on that map would be absolutely hilarious, I'd love to see it done, but it would sure be difficult.
So I just got out of a 4 v 4 and just found myself sitting there at the end thinking, "Wow. I wish I could just record that and watch it again later." In essence, I'm talking about games that you just found yourself absolutely glued to the screen enjoying every second of it, winning or losing. The game I was just in basically went as followed; Forces of Light: Oak, Erebus, Unclean Beast, Rook. Forces of Darkness: Sedna, Torchbearer, Reg
Enjoy your break, and good luck getting that book done. ... I'll get the gasoline, someone else get the matches.
Congrats to JJ. I recall playing with him last night. It was a nice and enjoyable game to be sure. (Even though we lost horribly)
One of the easiest ways would be to create a "checklist", an enable/disable menu. See: The Mods section in the options menu.
Fair enough. I've read through this topic since I posted it, and I have to agree with N3Rull. I hadn't actually looked at it that way until he made all these posts.
Only "Mothership" Capital Ships can colonize. These are the Akkan Battlecruiser, Projenitor Mothership and the Jarrasul Evacuator. Additionally Colony Frigates(Protev Colony Frigate, Missionary Vessel and the Jarun Migrator) are capable of colonization. Nothing else can Colonize.
Just a thought, logically speaking, shouldn't Vasari Phase Stabilizers be open for allied factions to make use of? For example; Vasari Player A has Phase Stablizers between his border with TEC Ally Player B and his front lines. Vasari Player A comes under attack from Advent Player C and is losing, so requests TEC Ally B to come and assist, rather than having to go possibly upwards of 7 jumps to get ships to support the Vasari Player, why wouldn't the stablizers be open f
One thing I'd really like to see is the "Flagship" title for Capitals actually MEAN something other than "This ship has the highest level". As soon as two caps have the same level, the "Flagship" aspect completely vanishes. Perhaps ships in a fleet with a Flagship as Fleet Commander could gain slight bonuses to damage output for example. With the ability to CHOOSE which Capital becomes your flagship for a cost(Similar to the method designating your Empire's Capital Planet.) from th
I've seen them return to their base after raids with use of PSIDAR, not sure what's needed for this though because they always act suicidal when attacking me (maybe if they clear out a planet they stop)? They can also grow more powerful. It's either due to high bounties being paid, high bounties being collected by successful raids, or the aforementioned finished raids returning and just hanging around (since each raid spawns a new f
I think he typoed dwgamers to dwganers. www.dwgamers.net works for me, looks like their site. (Thought I'd throw that in there, dwganers didn't make sense to me when I saw that URL)
No. For example you won't be getting Kodiak's with Intercept from TEC players if you should choose to steal them, after all, you don't have the research.
I actually just use Impulse to get the updates for Sins itself when they become available, and then play it via Steam since I always have Steam running(Add non-steam game button in the Games tab). Albeit Sins on Steam would be interesting, certainly I think it would be a much welcome boost to people who play online.
before everyone used the akkan..what makes the marza so special that nearly 90 percent of all TEC players now use this as their main capital ship? if its not the "gamebreaker" everyone else thinks it is why not add in some other caps? surely you shouldnt need 3 MARZAS running around.
A friend of mine had like, 7 of them once. But uh, on your point of a lone Mothership and a Lone Egg not being a threat to a fleet, yes, you'r
On the left of the structure list, there are two buttons, top one is structure auto placement, make sure it's off and that should take care of your problems.
