They were taking advantage of differing price elasticities of different consumers. It had nothing to do with direct competition from Impulse per se.

I agree. It's too much of a hassle to be online 100% of the time when I want to play a game. Ubisoft is committing suicide in my opinion. I'm not sure how paying customers would put up with that. Ubisoft must have some really killer games coming out for all of that hassle. :P

Dude, at level 15, Putrid Flow and Acclimation put the BEAST in Unclean Beast. You have ZERO mana problems with Putrid Flow and BotS. ZERO.

Also, in order to counter it, you've got to spot it. Protoss can't spot it. I can scan them to see what they're doing and where their weakness is. I really don't think Protoss has a counter.

My build was actually inspired by Husky. The thing is they do massive damage to buildings. I can usually have about 10-13 Reapers by 5 minutes, and this allows me to snipe spawns. I'm usually able to rape a Nexus with them. Then I build starports and start getting Banshees.

My favorite strategy with Reapers on Kulas Ravine (where rocks protect your natural): 1. Lift off command center almost immediately. 2. Land it on your natural that's protected by rocks. 3. Build Reapers. 4. Your opponent has no clue where you are or what you're doing. 5. Jump your Reapers off of the cliff and one-shot their base. :D You can't see it coming as Protoss. Dunno how to counter it. As Zerg, your Overlord can spot it.

From levels 1-6, BotF is stronger. From level 7+, BotS is stronger. I always go BotS. While you won't be able to hold flags in the early game, I find that levels 1-6 comprise smaller portion of the game than levels 7+.

It's not really viable for hybrid, imo. It's an excellent for a minion build. It also affects minion idols.
