Actually in an episode Troi tries to order a REAL chocolate sunday and the computer tells her that it cannot replacete it as she wants because it would not follow good health protocol or whatever they call it. You may order greasy ribs but you would actually be eating stuff that your body realluy needs. So that's why they don't get fat, because the computer tricks the mind it tastes like fat but it's not fat. &
If the improvements mentioned above do, in fact, make for a more challenging and sensible AI, I will promptly buy this game. I am impressed with the idea behind the game (I never played DotA, though) and would like to support Stardock and GPG as small companies. I am especially impressed with the open and regular communication that I have seen between Frogboy and the player base at this forum and the decision not to use
Well could be today but don't think the QA will be able to test it fully in such a short time. As he said releasing it on friday is asking for trouble, if there's something wrong with the patch it'll be hell because no one is in the office in the weekend to fix it and you can't leave thousands of players with a non working game (i'm sure i'll get some reply about the mp never has been working now)
Well, I for one am very excited about the updates/improvements to the AI. Oh wait, this is a multiplayer game where the ai doesn't matter at all. Oh crap.
Speak for yourself. I play against bots only. AI survivability was sometimes a bit rediculous. Also bots join AI games when players leave iirc. Another kudos for bman (and GPG too for atleast providing support after gam
I occasionally join noob only games when I'm looking for a good stomp. Mind you other people do too so its never a guarantee.
And you have no regret what so ever? Its like beating up a 6 year old kid for lunch money. It really doesn't register in your mind as wrong, does it? If you want to crush, go play against easy AI, and don't ruin the fun for people that actually are nice enough to join newb games as not to bother
It's also keeping track of anything and everything you ever search, which, by the governments authority, can be released at anytime. Oh, not to mention that they sell this information to anyone and everyone willing to buy it. No thanks.
What he said. I use google as little as possible, but I do use their search as it more often finds what I need.
I assume that by the time they can make holodecks they can remove the bad fats from food also while preserving the taste, ergo making all food sort of healthy.
STill get an assist on the kill would solve it. And ppl doing that on purpose are sore losers. I remember an old game (enemy territory) where people would do it all the time, even have a button bound to it, just so you wouldn't get the points for it. I cannot express in words how lame I think that is, but sadly no one cares, they only want to be first in rank.
use. the. search.
God what is with all these threads. Just post in the main thread about coupons :\
You and/or your friend need to use the forum search. You don't need a coupon, you want a coupon.
I guess they all took the long weekend off.
Which is also a great way to 'refresh your mind' and spot a bug after all, as every devver knows. I'm glad they finally reponded to you, although for some people they can never do it right. No reaction means they aren't communicating enough and should answer here, and answering here means they are on the fora too much and should spend more time debugging :p
We can all agree Bman's awesome. I just don't get why some of you think GPG fails.
Easy, everybody has an opinion, nobody knows what he's talking about. Welcome to the internet. IIRC Microsoft even has a seperate 'secondary' team veriewing all the vital code to filter out any bugs or mistakes that the main devvers could miss, simply for the reasons stated in earlier post. Since I circumvented the restriction in the OP, I then do what ever I want. Such as: - a space war that makes Legend of the Galatic Heroes look like a small skrimish. - drop Bolos(Mk XXXIII or higher) into various universes to see what happends. Say one of the Gundam universes or another mech ba
It all depends on your life. I can have sex whenever I want (if the g/f is in the right mood :p) but there are lots of things a human could never do, except for in a holosuite. So I'd do one of those things. But for some maybe sex isn't within grasp and they really want it, so might aswell holosex it up! Point is that said poster called wanting to have sex (be it in a holosuite or not) sick, which is ofcourse worth a +1 Rediculous.
Quoting Moosetek13, reply 5 Lame. Download some porn and use your mind as the holosuite - same thing. Sick is as sick does (or thinks), I guess. Is that the best you can think to do with your time, and brain? agree! sad that there are so many sick minds out there...
If you mean that than either the entire human race would be sick, or the human race would

By the way, what I am wondering. Does the distance within the USA effect speed as much as it would from my country to another europese country at the same distance? When I connect to a server in Russia I only get about 25% of my normal speed. That is roughly the distance from New York to Los Angeles. If you'd do the test from NY to LA would you also only get 25% of your speed?

Very interesting.
It's called ADSL. It's how the technique works :) (Hence the Asynchronous). Cable and fibre should solve the problem, though there isn't much need for a high upload for average users.

You can change the gamespeed in the options in the game lobby and if you set them to 'adjustable' you can change them ingame with NUM+/_ IIRC. HF! Give weather effects! My system isn't near it's limit yet, so add more candy :) I usually like weather effects a lot. Saw it being added in WOW and it gave the game a lot more atmosphere.
I opt for adding the res too. I don't use it personally but i DO havea 16:9 monitor on my laptop.
Hmm I recently concluded form reading demigoddb.com that minion boosting items apply only to DGs minions. That would make those items especially good for Generals, and the other items especially good for Assassins. I never buy -death penalty upgrades. Just running away at the right time will suffice. Sometimes I die anyway because I get stunned or jumped by 2 DGs but that's the way life is.
