Why don't you look at my tournament post, does it look like other premades are willing to play eachother? This game is not competitive. I've played games with SoFFacet because we ussualy lack a third. But you just wanted to make a silly post to make us look bad without actually knowing anything about us... right? If this game ever gets out of the phase of "omfg people have friends" and teamplay is actually implemented, the community would probably change to a more competitive one. Right

Obscenitor your posts have been very well as of recent :) theres very few things I disagree with you on. Especially considering the past.
Honestly, this community isn't a competitive one. I have no idea where you got that.
Results > Words. You mean like: Demigod v1.10 (1.10.114 on Impulse) -------------------------------- [July 1 - Fixed Random Demigod selections on Multiplayer games.] [July 1 - Fix for purchasing skills whilst dead.] [July 1 - Favor items saved between games again.] - Activated Concede mechanism - Speed debuffs now have a default minimum move
You inferred that. The publishers never stated that.
That's why I used the word similar.... It was not a direct claim, but that is how the people who play with friends are viewing this situation, somthing you don't realize.
If you're going to quote someone, quote everything relevant to the statement:
Actually everything that was relevant I posted, cost based analysis has nothing to do with the claim that
I thought it would go without saying, but opting to not fight premades would also mean you don't get matched with your own friends either. Basically an opt-out for people who *do* want to play PUG-only matches (or who just don't have friends to play alongside and don't want to fight a lopsided match against a premade). Without such an option, we'd be in the same situation as now with PUGs and premades at each others throats, except it'd be easier to do premades.[/quote
Seriously Wickbear. We're talking about a game that is now 3 months post release. It is what it is. If what it is isn't good enough then the game deserves to die. On the other hand, if the game is good and can continue to grow over time with its existing feature set merely enhanced then that's great. These discussions have to be put in the context of an already released game with the feature set it has. This is the game Gas Powered Games wanted to mak
While I would be in support of an option like that, you would be back at the very discussion that caused all these problems in people abusing a matchmaking system for somthing its not designed to do. As far as difficulty of pairing up with people on your friends list, such an option seems much more difficult to program than just adding in a parallel team skirmish. Then again, I havn't seen your code so I guess I can't make that claim.
Forgive me for sounding the same as most unnuisanced kids on here, but.. What exactly does a year long support contract with GPG mean when we see very little - in my opinion - from GPGs side. I love this game they made, but it still lacks in features/bugfixes. Now, I'd have no problem with that if they'd solve that with support along the way, but I feel we see very little from GPG's side. And for me personally, they are the only
Somone can take this over if they want, I think i'm out after the last postings I read. Was nice playing with you all.
Wow... I'm shocked at what ive read. We'll I had a feeling anyway, but to hear it directly is just shocking. Not only are you not making the changes that are preventing alot of people from playing this game, but you're even making it harder for those people currently playing to get a game going. I'll never be purchasing another GPG or Stardock game if this is how they percieve games should be made. You just lost 8 customers, those are the "casual" gamers you are su
How about 8pm sunday?
Oh, and a challenge maybe for once in this game?
Good games, test of skill.
So another topic that essentially boils down to poor matchmaking and not really needing more hotfixes that don't solve underlying issues. Hot-fixing and adding rules and policy's that don't make sense in a "fair" game is never the way to solve problems. Yes, I agree, we need matchmaking badly.
You would think the "big names" would jump at teh chance to finally prove their skill. Maybe they're scared?
Bump- seriously suprised at the lack of interest.
not too bad of an idea. Although im not sure if we need a stand ground and defensive stance. those could easily be assumed into one.
It's not my fault if they are doing their own thing. I can do stuff to assist them to the best of my ability, but I can't help it if they are a bad player. You know this. Stop trying to squirm out of it with your pedantic arguments.
Theres a video of me babysitting an AI the entire game against decent players, it's entirely possible so i don't "know this". oh, AND we were losing before the drop. http://www.youtub
There were no threads on the topic on the first page of threads when I created this topic. I made it as instructions for people who are just starting out and people who aren't aware that naming conventions exist for a reason. It's not possible for everyone in a gaming community to conform to a norm, unless of course it will guarantee that they will win at the game. However, the more educated a person becomes as to what is desirable, such as what SHOULD go into the name of a gam
Yeah.. even damage on those oaks would be GG for them really. Not to mention what would happen to them when they used all their shield cooldowns. Massive heals with no damage also wont let you take down anyone either. Maximizing the unique builds in each different hero has always been more effective than doubling any skill.

The problem is that you seem overly pissed about a thread that you could just not click on and be done with it. I know the name doesnt always matter. All i asked in my post was commen honesty when i ask a guy if his group is a premade. If answering a question, one only asked to ensure a
