God. Are you telling me I'm going to get a chance to meet Peter in person? Or is he just going to be there for your Oahu leg of the trip?
He says he wants to get better, but I don't see how he can is its super easy for him to get thrown out of balance and tunnel. Any thoughts on how to help pete with tunneling or is something that simply can't be helped (and therefore a liability any time he's needed).
Sounds like the same old Pete. I think we've all heard him say he wants to improve over the years and we've all been removed
Great read Hedgie! Interesting mindset on the author. Re: Da Leak So weird this is going down when we're all talking about it. I'm kinda bummed that I didn't post something I was thinking, that it would be great if these scripting sites were going to narc on their customers for fun. Didn't say anything because I was pretty upset about this whole revelation and figured that was pretty far fetched and was just wishful thinking on my part...
Just checked the Xerath's LoLKing. Last 10 games he played was as Support Xerath, won 9 of the 10 with god awful stats a massive KDA. Only 10/10/23 in the game I played against him so yay for my team? Oh wait, they had a level 21 Yi and a beginner Wu Kong top and still beat us. Oh, and scripting apparently has been pretty good for him in Ranked. Diamond V. [e digicons]X([/e] [e digico
I think its bad to assume if you get whooped you are being scripted. Honestly every report of scripters involves god awful players with god awful stats.
. Kinda goes against my personal experience the other night. I'm 100% certain the enemy Xerath was scripting and carrying from Support without getting fed in lane. YouTube videos you inspired me to check out don't leave any doubt that good players us
Scripts like dodging skillshots would be reasonably easy to detect if Riot cared. So I assume that such people would be caught reasonably quickly. Perfect Smite scripts and the like are even easier to detect.
The Xerath I played against had 600 wins and a skin so it wasn't a total trash account that he had just gotten to 30. Either he cheats infrequently enough to
Well... who cares about those hacks that can change the game when there are scripts out there? Hacks change the game, can be patched up, and people can get banned. Scripts though? From what I've checked out so far, you can't really prove that someone is using one or more of the subtle ones and it's pretty much poisoned the idea of playing League for me. Now I'm going to be paranoid every time I play that every good move I see the enemy perform is be
A couple things - 1st - an apology. I had a really shitty day at work today and as a result was like super fuck this trolly (last game in particular).
Huh? You seemed to be in a good mood and it was fun playing with you. Maybe I didn't care about you being trolly since compared to playing Captain Hindsight Obvious Negative Boy, you trying to snag kills as Support Zyra was simply amusing. Hunny Badger
My friend Snipersbane tried to make a last minute dash to Gold V and failed. Poor guy has to have that silver border for another season.
My former Bronze V 400 MMR buddies both got close to their goals. One is Bronze I but had like 5 AFKs in a row and the other got Silver III. They were both getting 25+ a win so the MMR was where it needed to be but real life got in the way. Re: Diamon
Congrats Bryff!
I believe the 'Smurf Detection' has been active for a while and is one of the reasons my attempts to help my friends get out of Bronze V hit so many snags. I believe crazy good KDA's will flag the system whether you win or lose, which was pretty frustrating. Oh, and are you still playing Rumble? You're on Reddit more than me so you've probably seen it, but I'll post just in case. This guide/Reddit post helped me out with some things: h
Karl's got some good points. #LeagueOfBigPlays. "FUCK YEAH NOW WITH MORE PENTA PENTAKILL GAMES! Spirit Visage stopping big plays?! NERF IT!!! People are hard to kill when they get ahead in lane and build Sunfire?! NERF THE FUCK OUTTA THAT ONE TOO! We forgot about Randuin's?! NERF IT! Why are hypercarry marksman taking over bot lane? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS?!" And so on and so forth. I actually watched a Diamond Rene
I'm sure Morello didn't phrase his words perfectly as often happens during an AMA. I'm not sure what he said is that true anymore but not so long ago at a skill level higher than all of ours? I've watched a little Nightblue3 streaming here and there. If he wants to kill you, you're dead. Spam wards? Still dead. Play safe? Still dead. Be winning your lane? Still dead. Hide under your tower? Dead. Nerf his cha
Re: Difficulty Hitting Plat I nearly got demoted back to Silver and have never been near Plat this season. At one point during a prolonged mega tilt, I was earning 15 LP for a win and losing a little less than 25 for a loss. I'm the poster boy for 'grinding' games not being a guaranteed way to get higher elo. Re: Earning Diamond If Zenny got Diamond, he earned Diamond. If one was to say he only got there from spamming games that w
Actually, competition has been mostly soft, so its a decent place for me to work on things. Alt accounts have been useful for me - particularly on champs I really, really suck at and would get stomped at on my main. I prefer to do the boot camp thing and then pop back to my main.
Not saying that's not a good method, and it's in fact the same thing I've done myself. Being abl
Not sure playing Rumble on a sub 30 account is a good idea. You kinda need some heavy offensive runes and masteries to CS decently with him and if you don't have them I'd think you'd be getting some negative feedback. For example, say you're pushed to tower and there's a damaged melee minion that you want to kill after it takes one tower hit. You use the perfect combo of your abilities and an auto attack to kill him. But you don't kill h
Thanks for turning me onto that whole concept of having a more stable connection Pacov! The ping improvement programs for gaming don't help me, they in fact crash LoL if I try and hook up to a server that's not in Hawaii. When I was researching more, I heard about other people in my situation using VPNs so I gave that a shot and installed Cyberghost. No more "jitters" is the only way I know how to describe it. Maybe it's just wishful thinking and
No offense taken.
I also have no idea how bainick ended up supporting in the last game when I thought he said he wanted to jungle.
He didn't want to jungle, he was willing to jungle because he was told no one else on the team knew how. He's a really good Support player who enjoys the role and tries to play it every chance he gets
Re: Kupopuffs Yeah, I like him. Nice guy, but goddamn there are too many Support mains running around. He's actually quite decent considering his time playing, but he's still in that phase of "Look at my new Leona rune page!" And I go "Uh... yeah. Lots of flat AP eh? Hmmmm..." Re: Blujay People who haven't played with you for years might now be able to pick up on the signs that it's not a good time to roust y
GP is actually completely legit in my opinion. Situational sure, but as long as you build stuff with at least some utility like Iceborn and use your ult intelligently to help your team, he's solid IMO. There's a lot of closet legit Supports out there that could be the new Bot Lane Shaco. Problem is, I think you'd need to play a lot of games to figure them out and I don't think you have the dedication/love for any one champion to do it. You like
The fella that plays shaco support only is master tier. He's the guy that wrote up the build and gave some playstyle examples in an ama on reddit a few days ago. Keep in mind that master tier vs master tier champs, etc. Also keep in mind that I'm not equating my skill level with support shaco with his - just giving a clear, ranked example of someone that seems to stay at master tier playing mostly shaco support...
heh... take a look at my stats and itemization, though (scroll about half way down). http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=pacov or look at the details and see what my gold amt is at relative to the other players. Fair point though re: people not thinking it fits - honestly it fits better than a jungle shaco in solo queue gold/plat level due to late game t
I mean, you'd be wrong, but you could argue.
I do love to argue, so I'll take the bait. You love to split push. You do it a lot. I'm not an expert, so I don't know if you're usually making the best play or only sometimes, but I do know that you do it so often that it is impossible that it's always or even almost always the right call. <
ramblings continued - I don't think I've told you about my (former?) pal dxtrick. If you recollect, he was someone I met in team builder and we worked exceptionally well together in bot lane (him adc, me support). Anyway, we decided to play ranked, crush it a bunch, and have like an 80% + win rate together in ranked.
Yeah, think you told us about him in a post before. Said he is a Plat-Diamond sk
Thanks Pacov, but the shipping charges for $3 worth of soda is apparently $50. My strawberry cream flavored dreams of getting to Plat are as good as dead... even Shaq can't help me.
