I have seen worse...the guys over at S2Games can be brutal...not just calling someone an idiot, but down right cursing them out lol. I forget the owners name (Maliken I think) but I have seen him on occassion rip into players for acting stupid.
Your second statement is WRONG, and these are clearly laid out as to what is and is not illegal, and does not cause the "wrong people" to get prosecuted. And they did do something wrong, intentionally facilitating piracy is illegal. (intentions are key) You may think whatever you want, but there are clear laws that the pirate bay broke, and now they are paying the price.
This is what I was responding to: "There's no good way of describing what constitutes copyright-enfringement, which is why no country has done it yet." In which I provided EXACTLY what constitutes copyright infringement, and EXACTLY why pirate bay was shut down. And it's not about winning, it's about enforcing the law. Pirate Bay is guilty, and the people who run it are scum and getting exactly what they deserve.
That's fine, but the only "scewed perspective" is pretending 100,000+ pirates jumping on the game day one didn't have a negative effect. I agree with you that they (GPG, Stardock) made major mistakes too, but to ignore this and pretend the theives didn't contribute is flat out intellectual dishonesty.

Na, he is probably tired of hearing people with absolutely no idea what they are talking about masquerading around like they are experts on the subject.
