Pity the article is quite poorly written and ultimately quite superficial. Still, it's nice when reviewers take notice of developer interest in the game.
Yeah, the first bit reads like an advertisement and then it just sounds condescending almost. I didn't finish reading it.

Cry more that you don't have all the favor items? Find the ones you want most, and go for those. That's called strategy, because while your salivating over +15% runspeed I've got -20% cooldowns, health, and mana. Its strategy in an rpg sense, its on a very small scale (10-20 hours? try 3-4 to earn them all) and it adds to the game. I'll be leaving your no favor item games.

Would probably cause a slight increase in the rage quitter percentages. Maybe the announcer should cut you some slack if your losing, "You'll get him next time" or "He's probably cheating, be the bigger man" stuff like that.

That looks pretty good to me. If you want to do some moderate-awesome overclocking, I'd recommend picking up an aftermarket hsf as well such as the Xigmatek S-1283 or OCZ Vendetta 2 (whichever is cheaper). Since you got a fairly beefy videocard I'd recommend doing some processor overclocking, looks like a nice rig to me.

I'm not sure if you can do it using only the game, but I use fraps to show fps (it also lets you record movies and take screenshots). http://www.fraps.com/ With my setup, my frames are silky smooth with 16xaa and maxed @1920x1200, but the temp of the cards goes into the low 80's and the fan becomes louder than I like, so I keep it at 4x. I imagine the sli is working fine, cus I doubt a single gtx260ish card could handle that.

SLI is enabled unless you disable it in the nvidia control panel. I use a gtx 295 and it runs without issue with SLI enabled.

If your going with that processor and AM2+ motherboard, ddr3 ram is not supported. You wont lose performance going with 8 gigs of ddr2-800 or 1066 though, so no worries there. The processor is clearly less powerful (relatively speaking) than the video card, which is fine for most games. I am under the impression its mostly for gaming. The power supply, 850w, is crazy overkill. This computer wont use more than 400 watts under any circumstances, not even close to 4

Why not play custom games until pantheon is fixed? It's like you keep eating the rottenberry pie and crying when you've got cherry cheesecake right next to you, just wanting to be eaten. I'm giving you the spoon, go ahead.

Buying a computer from a manufacturer or small computer store is almost always considerably more expensive than building it for yourself - the one exception being very low end systems around the under $500 bracket. If you know how to do it yourself, by all means do so.

I hate how their reviews are so stiff and strict. It's like they're reviewing it to let my grandma know how the game is and how it works.

I dunno, you prolly wasted a few minutes writing this rant. My guess is your time isn't too valuable in the first place.

I'd just like to add that you could easily save money on a soundcard by using the onboard sound - there isn't a whole lot of difference, even for 5.1. A good, inexpensive case I recommend is the Cooler Master CM 690, pretty big for a midtower, decent cooling with room for a 120mm on the side near the video card(s) and has clamps inside to aid in cable management. For the powersupply, the 750w corsair is pretty cheap (115 cdn) and solid. Like above poster said, a phenom is pr

You might as well post a link to the torrent to download the game too. You've already come this far.
The only imbalance I can see with Regulus is that snipe can still target people who move out of range or that he can no longer see. I have sniped people in the middle of teleporting back to spawn and the bolt did a 180 and killed them way over at their base on the other side of the map. Otherwise Regulus is not impossible to beat. A comparably equipped/levelled Unclean Beast tends to eat him alive.
I got a ki

About game flow and game's leaning to one team and never turning the tide... i've played 7 games, and 2 of those were come from behind victories. I'd say the game does a pretty good job of letting you come back up to a point. Better than in DoTA, where a couple deaths early on meant the game was over. I agree with a lot of your other comments and suggestions. I don't believe erebus is overpowered, so far I haven't found any obvious balance issues.
